AT&T is having a "Blackberry Blow Out Sale". The brand new Bold 9700 is on sale for only $99.99. The slick Curve 8900 is only $74.99. The new Curve 8520 is only $49.99. They have others for sale, but those are the only ones worth looking at.

T-Mobile has the new Curve 8520 and Bold 9700 on sale as well, but if you buy at retail, they have some really killer no-contract rate plans.

US Cellular, is a large regional carrier, almost nationwide, and has solid deals on the 9630 Tour.

Cincinnati Bell Wireless has excellent plans and is offering the new 8520 Curve for free, and the 8900 Curve for only $99.00.

nTelos, which serves the Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, and parts of Ohio, has the 8130 Pearl, 8230 Pearl Flip, and the 8330 Curve for free or under $49.99. Their rate plans are competitive too.

CellularSouth is competitive with the 9630 Tour, 8330 Curve and 8230 Pearl Flip.

Some of the "virtual" providers (aka resellers) are offering Blackberries now too. MetroPCS has the 8330 Curve, and you pay more for it, but their rate plans are very very affordable.

I reminded myself this morning that we have a truly global audience here at DZ.com, and I've neglected our non-US community in these promotions. So, I wanted you to know that you too, have options!!

Canada -- You have three big carriers, Telus, Bell, and Rogers. It doesn't matter what one you pick, your rate plans all suck, as do your phone prices. Just go to the store, bend over and get it over with. We'll see you on the BBM group when you can stand up straight.

UK -- You have several carriers, and device options. UK, and much of Europe has such high cell subscriber rates (market penetration) that you enjoy some pretty nice deals. Like Vodafone, they have the new 8520 Curve, 9520 Storm2, 9700 Bold with super rate plans at just £40/month or less. Orange has free or near free Blackberries and hella-good plans starting at £39/mo. O2 and 3 probably have some good stuff brewing, so check it out...

France -- You have similar plans available through Orange, but I can't understand French too well, and the site wasn't fully responding to me, but I'm confident that there are some nice plans starting at just €30/month.

Germany -- You got T-Mobile, Vodafone, and O2, more or less the same game.

Japan -- Head over to DoCoMo and pick up a 9000 Bold.

Australia -- Telstra has the 9700 Bold, 8100 Pearl, and 8300 Curve. They don't list the phone prices as far as I can see, and the rate plans make no sense to me whatever. Go figure it out and get back with us.

South Africa -- Vodacom is the big player it seems and their web-site is a whole bunch of busy-ness...they have a full line of BBs, and simple plans. I don't know the value of the currency, so I'm not going to talk price, etc.
