JerseyShawn 0 #1 October 6, 2011 The Blue Angels are in town again tearing up the skies for a few days before their show, love the ruckus they make! Come out Saturday and Sunday and see what our brothers can do, should be blue skies. And the San Francisco weenies will be out protesting, also entertaining

Most likely the the country and its Constitution that, unlike many others, gives them the right to protest pretty much anytime/anywhere/anything. JerseyShawn 0 #6 October 7, 2011 Quote Quote And the San Francisco weenies will be out protesting, also entertaining What will they be protesting? Wasting fossil fuels, pollution from those fuels. Wasting taxpayers money paying for the airshow. Noise pollution, scaring the native wildlife and domestic pets. Some see it as dangerous if something goes wrong. I've seen protest signs referring them (the F/A-18s) as murder machines and such, so some anti-war people in the mix.

funjumper101 15 #11 October 7, 2011 A good place to watch the show is the Marina Green. If you stand about 100-200' to the left of the pumphouse, facing out to the water, the flight of 4 passes overhead a few times if they do their normal routine. Having seen them fly in several states, I can guarantee that there is no better venue than SF Bay.
