ianmdrennan 2 #51 December 28, 2011 My wife has an iPhone, I have a DroidX. Both good phones, honestly I see little to no difference. That said, we use my droid for navigation, it's better than the IPhone for sure. Doesn't take long to find location either (in my experience).Performance Designs Factory Team

DSE 3 #53 December 28, 2011 Quote That's interesting to hear; thanks. Anyone else? I have both. One for work and one for personal use. The droid is superior (IMO) in almost every way but the camera. I use the GPS religiously due to travel. I've just ordered the new Razr. One thing that's important; you can't really say "Droid is better" vs iPhone, because the Droid model matters a lot. The Droid2, for example, sucks with the GPS, but the X and the Razr are very good. The HTC models have killer good GPS and camera, but other things are kind of slow. Droid-many hardware choices, iPhone, you have one hardware choice.
Stumpy 283 #54 December 29, 2011 Don't confuse "Droid" and "Android" "Droid" is a trademark that refers to the motorola Android phones. All others (HTC, Samsung etc) are just "Android" Phones.Never try to eat more than you can lift

Oh, thanks for the clarification. FYI, when I used "droid" in my last couple of posts, I was really (and, apparently, mistakenly) just generically referring to"Android".
