Fantastic !!

i've been viewing this thread for a while..
What Nice work you do..B| THAT's creativity.. right there!!!
the flowing beards , the faces. the depth to every piece !
Very Good.

it's a good point, about keeping your abilities to yourself for the time being :|
AND about Upping the " Time to create " element.. ;)
It's amazing , if you can go from start to finish in ONE session.

steveorino .. Are you good at regular Drawing and artistry on paper or canvas. ? are you a skilled tradesman with the tools and know to step into carving?
For how many years ?? have you been accomplishing this sort or work??
continued success

I have been cartooning professionally since 1984. I have sold to Sat Eve Post, TV Guide, Good Housekeeping, Better Homes & Gardens, Parachutist, Skydiving, Ebony, and 100s of other smaller magazines. I have also illustrated many books.

As far as carving I'm a newb (started last February when we weren't skydiving). I don't even know how to properly sharpen my tools. I've read and watched plenty of videos on the matter but I'm such as kinesthetic learner, I'm not sure I quite get it.

wellll your cartooning talent certainly translates well to your wood working art.. :)
as for knowing how "to sharpen my tools"...
HELL !! brother.. push your prices by 50 % and simply Buy NEW tools!!!!!B|;)

or... get what you need in the way of abrasives or oil stones or a high speed spinner/grinder and give it try...you'll pick it up.. fast...

thanks for the reply.
