Great songs, to be sure, but isn't it odd how we remark on the death of stars long after they stop producing the stuff that really made them famous?

Music takes on a life of its own as soon as it's entered the popular consciousness, and Gibb's contribution will continue to be loved long after the death of the man himself. Not many of us will have the privilege of leaving a legacy like that. I know I don't expect to!
