Am I the only one who remembers "Quark"?

That was fairly recent. He was also the principal in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
:D:D:D:D:DQuark was a TV show i dont think he meant the character in DS9:ph34r:

Ouch!!

Quark - May the source be with you.
It's all been said before, no sense repeating it here.

I tried to re-watch Macgyver (goofy), Moonlighting (slow), and V (too cheesy), and Miami Vice via Netflix. .

The re-watching is the interesting part, to see whether one liked a show only because one was young and immature, or it was the first show of the kind one had seen, or whether it really had some good qualities.

I just started re-watching a bit of WRKP in Cincinnati, and so far it is surprisingly good, with views on social issues that aren't so dated that they would make one cringe.

Saturday Night Live with Dennis Miller, Mike Meyers, and Dana Carvey

Saturday Night with Ackroyd, Belushi, Chase and Murray, and Land of Gorch. We would end dates early just to get over to my bud's house and watch that show. Sneak outside at every commercial and light 'em up, then come back in and laugh our asses off.

My favorite SNL moment.....John Belushi singing 'I'm a King Bee' with 'Howard Shore and his All - Bee Band.' :D

I did not have a TV until I was 7. And only because my Dad won a 15" B&W TV at a raffle at a local car dealer.

Flipper, Disney, Lucy, Ripcord, Ed Sullivan, and whatever we got on the only 2 channels we could get with an antenna

What? No tin foil on the antenna?
My Dad put a bar on the antenna pole near the bottom so we could turn it. Turn it this way for Channel 8, turn it that way for Channel 13.

Do you remember watching Arch Deal on both of those channels before he bounced? B| I think Channel 8 really tried to pressure him to quit jumping after that. Skydiving won, of course.

Besides turning the antenna, my job was handing tubes to my dad and telling him how the picture looked while he adjusted the set. :D

How's this:
"Arch Deal and the Fallin' Arches".

My brother was part of that demo team.

I got a kick out of how Arch padded his "logbook" week to week.

Howdy Doody is one I don't think I've seen mentioned.

I still remember not having a tv, just a big radio. Got tv in 57 or so.

Don't know about that. I never paid any attention to other folks' logbooks. I had enough trouble keeping up with my own ...logging jumps on scraps of paper and burger wrappers and such for updating "later".:P I did a couple of jumps with him a few years ago. Seemed like a nice enough fellow.

My mother use to make us watch Liberace.
The Gong show, was the best and worst thing that was ever on.
And for the Brits: Barbra Woodhouse
U only make 2 jumps: the first one for some weird reason and the last one that you lived through. The rest are just filler.
