One day, I had a perfect storm kind of thing conspire to make me about as busy as I've ever been in my career at the scope. He was right behind me, plugged in with his head set and watching. I got in top gear and worked thru the craziness and the traffic and finally straightened out the chaos that had hit my sector and even the scope next to me. After we got off the sector he said "Dad, that was cool!" The whole time I had been thinking that my kid was gonna watch me have an operational error (loss of separation between aircraft.)
