riddler 0 #1 September 27, 2012 Bacon shortage coming. Soon there will be hoards of bacon-loving zombies, starved for alternative fried-meat, and it may be people. jono 0 #2 September 27, 2012 If the boffins in white lab coats combined the DNA from a pig with a snake you wouldn't have this problem. Imagine a pig that sheds its skin every couple of weeks. Mmmmmm bacon. Remember you don't stop laughing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop laughing.
Arvoitus 1 #3 September 27, 2012 The best thing about shortage news is that 9 times out of 10 the shortage isn't caused by an actual lack of supplies but due to people hoarding the stuff since they've read in the newspapers that there is going to be a shortage of it.Your rights end where my feelings begin. Do you remember Johnny Carson's shortage of toilet paper joke. I saw this on the news this evening and your thoughts were mine exactly. Fortunately, I very rarely eat bacon. This proves 'merica is a land of socialism cause back in GDR times people always were short of almost everything - but the same people hoarded all these things "just in case"... A lot of flashing lights and waving of glowing sabers, but in the end you end up with something dark and wrinkely. DPH# "-13" TSK# "-13"

Amazon 7 #14 September 29, 2012 Quote Hey, you got any experience hunting these things? It might be fun to go shoot some with this winter. I do.. indeed I do... BUT.. I don't think we have much of a problem with them up here yet. Back east... the damn things are all over. One got my uncles leg one time and tore up his calf pretty bad with those chompers... He had shot him with a .30-30 and it just pissed the damn thing off. My uncle forgot grandfathers basic hog hunting training down there... One eye looking for the hogs.. the other looking for a climbable tree... just in case. Saw palmetto country SUCKS when you are trying to beat a hasty retreat from a pissed off hog. I think hunting season is going to be a wash for me though.. I will most likely be in the hospital with them splitting my chest wide open... that was a wasted couple tags for deer and elk.
