I really liked it. This will be classic King.

Vskydiver loved it. It's on my list. I haven't read a Stephen King book in years. He went from being a writer of taut, lean stories to one of the most verbose authors I've ever suffered.

I gave up reading SK after Tommy Knockers. He just got to be too verbose. But my brother talked me into reading this one and I don't regret it. I think I saw him on an interview talking about how his son helped him rewrite the ending. That's why it turned out so great. I never liked how SK ended his books. This book is a must read!

I'll read it if they publish it in the UK with the correct title: 22/11/63.

Seriously, it's interesting that I knew the significance of that date the moment I saw it (even though I wasn't quite born at the time). I wonder how many people under a certain age would say the same.

I enjoyed this book, but only in a lukewarm sense.

Yup, too verbose.

I loved most of Stephen King's books, but I hate him for somehow putting that goddamned "didachick, dodachock, dumachum" chant in my fucking head for years...

Yeah, I've always loved his ability to loosely tie so many of his stories back to the Gunslinger series. He is much more talented at developing characters than ending stories, that's for sure.
