He regularly said that one of the blessings was that he couldn't read his credit card number, so he always told the phone solicitors that they had to send material. He was a really soft touch, and knew it, and was comfortable with it. But he also knew that as he aged, folks would take advantage of it. The other "blessing" of being legally blind was that every woman was beautiful Wendy P. There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it.
