I'm always impressed with just how many verbs we have that describe the way we move from place to place on foot. For starters:

Walk, crawl, run, trot, gallop, prance, gallivant, sidle, peregrinate, jog, hop, skip, toddle, limp, parade, dance, totter, tiptoe, march...
...

The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.
