Claptons Coccaine - CLEARLY

Nah, JJ Cale's original was better.

Noah Guthrie's Youtube version of LMFAO's "I'm Sexy and I know it". By a very long way.

Maybe not strictly better, but a highly notable cover of the Pixies "where is my mind" by The PeteBox, if only for how he does it.

Joe Cockers AMAZING version of the Beetles classic, A Little Help From My Friends!!!

But Belushi's cover of Cocker's cover, was sooo much more entertaining!

I don't know if I would go so far to say it is better than the original, but Stevie Ray Vaugns cover of "Little Wing" is near perfect.

John Mayer does a killer cover of Hendrix's "Voodoo Child".

Suzannah Hofs and Matthew Sweet do a sweet cover of Neil Young's "Cinnamon Girl".

I think Crosby, Stills & Nash's cover of their good friend Joni Mitchell's "Woodstock" was better than her own performance of it.

Bobby Troup both wrote and sang the iconic "Route 66", but Nat King Cole's cover of it is best.

Clapton's signature "Crossroads"? Written by Robert Johnson in the 1930's.

On the topic of Cocker, how about a cover of Etta James "At Last" by a guy who sounds a lot like Cocker:

I just *love* the look on Cowell's face before he starts to sing!

Yeah, I was going to post this one. Such an awesome voice.

I also agree with the other comment about Boyce Avenue

I also think that this version of Radioactive is on par or better: Here But I am a sucker for acoustic sounding redos
