Skydiving in Trinidad/Tobago?

Recommended Posts

Doubt it. Caribbean drop zones are pretty few and far in between.

I thought grand Turk would be a good location for one, some nice flat open land by the airport. But you would need to snag cruise ship passengers for Tandems or you would starve!

I spent three months in Trinidad around 2001 training their military. The only jumping that was done there at all was at the abandoned airport near the base we were on, but it was only military. Trinidad is a pretty big island and the ethnic diversity is different than any other Caribbean island I ever visited. Lots of Indian (dot, not feather) folks mixed with Carib indian and black. EXCELLENT food there.

I've spent a lot of time in the Caribbean over the last 10 years. Always thought wind was an issue byt hey, they're doing it in Aruba why not elsewhere. Whomever said you need the cruise ship industry is spot on.
Please don't dent the planet.
