AggieDave 6 #77 April 18, 2005 Quote I love when people think that something like Googling is a skill. There is skill in knowing what search strings will bring you what results you want. Also knowing by reading the results how to change your search string to narrow down your search and successfully find what you want.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." NWFlyer 2 #78 April 18, 2005 Is it just me or has it taken more energy for Dave to explain why he won't regoogle than it would have taken to regoogle in the first place?"There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. kelel01 1 #79 April 18, 2005 It's not just you. Ok, here, I googled many variations and combinations of these words: "New Kids on the Block Jon Knight Danny Wood gay homosexual" Tried first names only, New Kids without "on the Block", and last names only. At least 15 different variations, all the same crap. Fix me, Mr. Google!
AggieDave 6 #80 April 18, 2005 Ok fine, here's a couple of search strings, I'll let yall narrow it down from there: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%22new+kids+on+the+block%22+%22openly+gay%22&btnG=Google+Search http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&safe=off&c2coff=1&q=%22new+kids+on+the+block%22+homosexual+member&btnG=Search http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&safe=off&c2coff=1&q=%22new+kids+on+the+block%22+%22Jon+Knight%22+gay&btnG=Search http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&safe=off&c2coff=1&q=%22new+kids+on+the+block%22+%22Jon+Knight%22+homosexual&btnG=Search There ya go, but yall can filter through the results if it matters.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." kelel01 1 #82 April 18, 2005 Ok, because I don't have a life, I read the first three pages of links, and I got NOTHING. The only thing that I saw was a message (1) on a message board that said, "I heard that Jon was openly gay". Kinda like something I read on here. Rebecca 0 #84 April 18, 2005 Where did you get that sig? Lyrics? Or reading my mind again? No, seriously, where? you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
kelel01 1 #85 April 18, 2005 I lean more towards the stance of (with the exception of tactical, military-type stuff), if it's NOT on the internet, it CAN'T be true. It seems that you should be able to find ANYTHING.
