Would you rather be able to fly, or be invisible?

I'd fly. Hard to post rad video of me being invisible on youtube.

Also hard to impress people with your selfies on Facebook.

It's hard enough with selfies of my ugly face as it is. You've convinced me otherwise. Invisibility. I'll be invisible.

My wife is hotter than your wife.

***If you were Wonder Woman's airplane you could be both.

Ooo, plus Wonder Woman would sit on me... B|

Just for shits and giggles, you go as superman and Valinda goes as Wonder Woman for the next DZ Halloween party. :D

>Invisibility would be far, far far far far far more profitable.

I don't know about that. What's the going rate for putting small satellites in low Earth orbit? SpaceX is getting $700 per pound even for their big launchers, and I can pretty easily carry 250 pounds while flying (tandem student + rig.) That's $175,000 for a day's work. Probably have to put some money upfront for the pressure suit.

I think this thread has now gone on long enough and we have enough people on record I can post this.

It's John Hodgeman's take on the subject. He's been asking this very question to friends for years and has a hypothesis.

So how do his results from the general population compare to the results here from skydivers? I'd expect skydivers to lean more heavily towards "flight" than the average whuffo. But then, whuffos not having experienced freefall the way skydivers have, maybe they would value flight even more highly?

She's already done Supergirl. (Demo jump into a stadium)

That looks like a nice pair of legs in the background, too!:)

That's it. I want to be Valinda when I grow up.

Also, I'll take flying. Not flying commercial sounds like a dream.
