Would you make love to an intelligent robot?

Good movie.
Lots'o questions - sex is only one of them.

So, it prompted me to watch Blade Runner again,. When her batteries start losing power, does she start losing her appeal? Etc.
(I guess she could have a 100 year battery or something..
or use nuclear power and never go out) Musing here.
Anyway, good movie!

Funny thing about "Blade Runner":
If you read the book from which the story was taken, ("Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?"), not only was there no such thing as a "pleasure model", but sex with androids was strictly illegal!

Blade Runner was a much better story all the way around.

Reading the book did explain some things that didn't make sense in the movie, eg:
Quote

Rachael: Do you like our owl?
Deckard: It's artificial?
Rachael: Of course it is.
Deckard: Must be expensive.
Rachael: Very.
