Fun with shipment tracking

I once ordered something via UPS from California;
I checked the UPS tracking website daily, and followed it's progress:
- From the city in CA;
- To the local UPS distribution hub in CO;
- Back to CA, but not the same city where it originated;
- To the local UPS distribution hub in CO;
- To my home.

But that was nothing compared to this USPS tracking record posted on another forum by a guy in Canada who ordered an item from Idaho.

Thinking about it all would slow down the process. Ship it all somewhere, now, even if it's wrong.

And just for the record, USPS Priority 2-day mail is not guaranteed. I found out the hard way after tracking a package for 16 days
