jumpsalot-2 2 #3 October 15, 2016 I took a swim in the Shark cage off shore from Pacific Skydiving on Oahu. The cage is anchored to the ocean floor. Twice as big as the cage in the video .... but there is NO TOP on the cage. The Sharks are about as big as the Sharks in this video. They could jump over the edge anytime they FEEL like it.Life is short ... jump often.
kallend 1,621 #4 October 17, 2016 I'd like to see the cage when they brought it up, to see how it was breached.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.
rehmwa 2 #5 October 18, 2016 I'd think a bigger cage would have been worse, not better. When trapped in a cage with a shark, I'm in favor of the shark NOT being able to maneuver too much ... Driving is a one dimensional activity - a monkey can do it - being proud of your driving abilities is like being proud of being able to put on pants

SkyDekker 1,121 #7 October 26, 2016 The guy who opened the top of the cage probably saved the divers life. Sharks can't swim backwards, so there may not have been anywhere else to go.
