ScubaSteve 0 #1 July 14, 2004 What is the best method to store a rig that may not be used from a few days to a few weeks? Is it better to hang or shelf it? Thanks much.
meltdown 0 #2 July 14, 2004 I hang mine in the closet on a special hanger made out of 3" pvc and an eye bolt. Works well, keeps it out of the way and the pvc pretty much matches up with the curves on the shoulder straps/harness. I figure that's gotta be better than tossing it in a corner. towerrat 0 #3 July 14, 2004 i just make sure it's out of the way and not exposed to light or anything else that could be bad for it. I throw it in the corner of my bedroom in its bag.Play stupid games, win stupid prizes!

softnotes 0 #5 July 15, 2004 Another thing a rigger once told me is to take the pilotchute out of the pouch. This way the pouch is under less constant strain and will last a lot longer.Blue Skies SoftNotes "That's not flying.... that's falling with style!"
