I have a tandem list started lol Places I want to tandem at, any suggestions? I honestly don't think I'll ever jump alone:P

Why not? You say you have issues with heights, so what? So do a lot of skydivers, including me.

The thing is, in the door of the plane, it's not height anymore, it's altitude.
It really is different.

Everything in New England is closed, so I'm thinking I might take a trip south. I'm also looking into having friends come along. I just want to make it a little more memorable, because that was something my ex and I always talked about and planned on doing together. I would have been his first non-experienced tandem if I'm getting it right.

Believe me I tried.

OH I'm in CT.

Huh, aren't you guys about to get a blizzard?

Ok how about THIS for a plan:

1) Fly to Hawaii
2) Do a tandem there

That sounds like fun to me!

Actually my mid-term goal is to get into a wingsuit around 200 jumps in, get reasonably good at flying it, go to Hawaii and spend a week flying over it.
I'm trying to teach myself how to set things on fire with my mind. Hey... is it hot in here?

I'm in Pennsylvania so I probably wont be jumping for awhile. Too freaking cold up there for me to be able to function on my own in the weather we are having lately. In the summer it is a nice vacation from the hot weather.

If you don't mind cold (and I mean FREEZING COLD) do a tandem whenever, haha.

It was sunny and "nearly" 40 today here in Longmont. I only did one skydive this afternoon though -- I'm hedging my bets and hoping they'll fly the king air tomorrow. I'm all spoiled by, like, benches and a real door and a 15 minute ride to altitude and stuff. Jamming six dudes in the Cessna for half an hour is just uncouth!

I did really need a skydive today, though. I'm glad to see I haven't forgotten how to land in the past couple weeks and I was grinning from ear to ear once I got back to earth. It might be two or three weeks between the intersection of reasonably nice days and when the dropzone is open during the winter.

I really should count my blessings, though -- at least they ARE open all winter. If I can get to spring without having to flee south to stay current, I'll be pretty happy.

Planning a tandem after the holidays, I've got my twin coming from Alaska at the end of Jan. and we're thinking of taking a mini-trip somewhere so we can go together. Figure we've been through everything so far together that we can do this together too!
