Changing Line Type

Recommended Posts

Hi all

I have a Saffire2 with microline and a Crossfire2 with vectan. Vectan, I am told, have benefits over microline in terms of shrinkage etc.

Now should reline time arrive, whould it be possible to reline the Saffire2 with Vectan, and will the flight characteristics remain the same?

Go on..... venture an opinion.... :)

Try contacting Mel at Icarus. You'll find him to be more than helpful. He'll be able to inform you as to flight characteristics and etc. in regard to the two line types you mentioned. If you'd like, youcan e-mail me for the phone number for Icarus.

Where would I find information on this 'new' line material? I try to stay 'in the loop' on new stuff. Thanks!

Precision Aerodynamics sent sample of HMA suspension line for our riggers' course in March.
They offer HMA and HMA 2 lines on their XAOS series of pond swooping canopies.
