billbooth 10 #1 April 28, 2004 In the last 15 months, Relative Workshop has shipped around 700 rigs with Skyhook RSL's installed. Yet, we have only a dozen or so reports from jumpers who have used the system in actual emergencies, and most of these are just verbal. I think there must be more, and I am hungry for data. (What size main? What kind of malfunction? How fast were you spinning? Did your reserve have any line twists? Did your freebag stay with your main? Altitude loss? Opening shock? etc.) So, if you have used your Skyhook, please let me know. A nice written report to RWS might even get you a T-shirt (maybe even a new one). AggieDave 6 #5 April 29, 2004 Where do you want the letter sent? We've had a Skyhook cutaway on one of our very sweet Vector3 staff rigs here at Skydive Aggieland. Let me know where you want it sent and I'll pass the info along to the jumper.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Rdutch 0 #6 April 29, 2004 Rusty Trapp had one, Velocity 97, nasty spinning line twists and he had pulled his main at around 1800 ft. Nice reserve open in no time, no line twists. Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of!
