Meso 38 #1 June 4, 2015 Over the next 3 months we'll be parting ways with the Dropzone.com [URL "http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/gmail/user/webmail.cgi"]e-mail functionality[/URL]. Despite serving a useful purpose in the past, the growth of free modern e-mail providers has left on-site e-mail functionality all but redundant. Further, while only a tiny number of our members actually use this functionality, spam checking and filtering has become a disproportionally large drain on our server resources. To ensure this transition is as painless as possible we've provided you with the ability to quickly and easily move your current mail messages outside of Dropzone.com and into one of your other e-mail accounts. Next Steps: • To migrate your mail, log into your Dropzone.com account • Visit the Email section from the link under the "My Stuff" dropdown in the top navigation • Follow the link and on-screen instructions from within your mail account. Keep in mind: • The email functionality will be discontinued on 31 August 2015 • Once you've migrated your mail you will not be able to use your @dropzone.com email anymore and may not be able to receive any e-mail to this address. So be sure to only migrate once you have prepared. • Change your address and notify your contacts of the change.
