The general name for people involved in the sports that you mentioned (and many more) is 'adrenaline junkie(s)'. Search that in Wikipedia and this is what you get:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adrenaline_junkie

I think these words say it all:

"Originally, it was used to describe argumentative people who deliberately (consciously or unconsciously) find excuses to explode in order to get an adrenaline fix. After the adrenaline rush wears off, they become agitated, which causes them to seek another reason to explode to get another fix. This mode of receiving a fix is deemed just as addictive as a recreational drug (such as cocaine), but perhaps more harmful as it negatively involves other people."

J.

you seem to be aggitated, as indicated by your user name. do you ever tire of being a victim?

I think that a ban free forum is much more atune to Base Jumping. People do whatever they want in Base; personal expression is a big part of that. Skydiving has tons of rules; Base does not. A forum should follow that trend.

True, but is also appears that people choose who they will or will not BASE jump with and thus having multiple forums allows the people to choose one that contains other people that share common attributes.

pretty kick ass forum. No banning and biases (we all know what I mean).

in reality, why are a bunch of base jumpers on a skydiving forum...ruled through dictatorship......doesn't make sense!

Call me a n00b, but I haven't seen any moderator actions that weren't justified... Personal attacks and naming of sites is just plain uncool.

Personally, if stuff is happening that you're having issue with, I'd rather that it be talked about directly rather than sly and vague references be made.
Looking for newbie rig, all components...

SO WTF are you still doing here?? I love it when a "new" forum for BASE comes up or when out of nowhere "Blinc is on fire".
Yet, seems lots of people keep coming back here to tell the rest of us how good it is.............
If it really is that good, why keep coming back??
I know you won't answer because you will be too dedicated to the new "kick ass" forum.
Thanks for coming.

A "ban free" forum. That's awesome! I just wish this here forum can someday be as cool as that one... :S

Here are the Rules from this new bastion of free speech: (Read them there)

You mean to tell me all I need to do is lodge a "formal complaint" about somebody and you will actually share that person's identity and private information with me?

Honestly though, good luck guys - it's hard work but fun to run an online community, whether you're homophobic or not! ;)

Wow sangiro, you actually took time to check it out! It must be really getting under your skin for you to use up so much of your precious time! And by the way, no personal information is required to register unless you volunteer it.

But fuck it, let’s see how many people Nick is going to ban just because of free speech, something you probably have no fucking clue about being from the part of the world you are.

Oh, I tried to PM the tomisgay guy but I could not. I guess he got banned already…any particular reason for that?
