I really enjoyed the Kundera quote.

I took the following passage from The Glass Bead Game by Herman Hesse... Initially it was about classical music... It is now about BASE.

"The human attitude of which (BASE) is the expression is always the same; it is always based on the same kind of insight into life and strives for the same kind of victory over blind chance. Another great passage in this book which you may or may not find related to BASE:

All in all, nobody really hurt. A few bruised egos and those who didn't respect the rules or tried to sabotage other jumpers gear got banned from the wall.
