I live in Jacksonville, FL... anyone know any places around here?

I will be getting my new canopy in January.. looking for local jumpers and places I dont have to drive 6 hrs + to

You might as well go back where you came from. With 500 jumps and 9 yrs in the sport (from your other post).:S
There's nothing in Florida.
It's just too flat!!

What happened??? When you started out did you not get the BASE geography lesson?? Flat means something very significant to the hieght of a certain BASE object. Or are you just an "object snob"?

I guess i am not as well educated as you, my most sincere apolgies for any offense I may have caused you

No offense taken. Welcome to the BASE forum derka derka.

So ya wanna know why Lonnie was "hostile"? I'll save you a quarter so you won't have to buy a clue. You're telling us you have 9 years in the sport and don't know squat about object evaluation. Don't know any local crews in Florida.

Ya don't have a clue who Lonnie B. is??:S Please tell us. Do you know who Carl is???

Folks have said BASE is going down the toilet. Must be so when a punk-ass newbie (that'd be me) with less than a year in the sport has to tell someone of your experience,"Yes, there are jumpable objects in FLA. In fact, its A smorgasbord.:P

Are you Phil Smith? :)

No, but Smitty took that pic of me just before he became the 3rd Phil to base jump...

Damn Phil...was the getaway car a 54 Buick? Did that ParaCommander open OK for ya?

respect brudda.

Nope, getaway car was a F-100 with 292 Y block, the ParaCommander did slide out of it's sleeve in its patience testing way, and Mayfield and Smitty were the best of Mentors...

Hey Phil, if this is you, the piglet I was referring to is when you and Smitty were the first two B's off the TCC. I just saw the A photo off the old Ch. 8 tower, great platform, and I remember Smitty jumped that stratoflyer until he got the cruislite. Call me if your in Houston.
