well, up until now, my only BASE jumps have been what y'all would consider high, special occasions and with peeps I already knew... havent had the BASE specific gear.. just made the investment and hope to be able to use it... and i can see the A's with a lot of PL's and T's around them, was hoping to get more than 1 jump with the new gear.. thanks for all the input
you want me to do what???

however DO NOT RELY on the sectionals. they are not that accurate. I looked at 7 different objects I know and I found errors in 6 of them. (yes I know how to read a sectional). I found one error in excess of 100 feet. :S

Of course, that's right.

Yet Sectionals have always been modest treasure maps in the BASE community and besides no one is going to jump anything without eyeballing it first. And even a good treasure map won't tell you how far you'll have to dig.

Most of the towers in the south-western U.S.A. seem to be close enough . . .

Eyeballing = Going downtown and taking a photograph and then going home and figuring it out - and then going back at night and doing it . . .
