KrisFlyZ 0 #26 July 31, 2006 I just got back to Stavanger(sitting in the library) after staying at Lysebotn (the whitehouse ) for 16 days. I had a great time and will be back there next year. Norway is one of the more expensive places in europe. If you turn up there without planning your budget, you may be surprised at how expensive things are. brabzzz 0 #27 July 31, 2006 Gotta agree. Everyone there was cool, helpful and friendly. And Norway is f*cking expensive. A beer is 48 NOK at the cafe. I couldn't find a beer for less than 50 NOK in Stavanger either though...so it's not unusually expensive, 'merely' just as expensive as the rest of the country.
