It will only trace that person (not you), not true, if that persons phone actually had reception, then your phone would to, then the authorities could check the mobile phone servers and see what other phones were in range of that mobile phone tower at the exact time the call from the other phone was made, so if this mike person had a mobile on him at the time and it had reception, then once they find where the body is they will look up the mobile phone records, and find him. so if his phone had reception, then its in his best interest not to piss the authorities off by making them wait longer to find the body. However, that is getting killed for staying and we are talking about getting a misdemeanor offense in the worst situation, unless it the NPS and then maybe a felony. I still think that qualifies as a different arena than a military situation. This whole scenario has led me to reevaluate my thoughts on the pact...... I hope it does for everyone.
