katzurki 0 #1 November 30, 2005 Out of curiosity, can anyone here share practical knowledge on what your experience has been freefalling with big canopies (in the 300 ft range) using a 46" AV vs a 42" AV? Hesitations? Heading performance? Opening time?
TomAiello 25 #2 November 30, 2005 I have experienced noticeably greater rates of PC hesitation with larger PC's, especially when stowed. I quit stowing a 46" I had a couple years ago because of this.-- Tom Aiello [email protected] SnakeRiverBASE.com
nicknitro71 0 #3 November 30, 2005 I'm with Tom. If I need a 46 there is no need to go stowed. The biggest I go stowed is 42. I also noticed hesitations with a vented apex 46 (z-po). IMO a non-vented in the 46-48 range is superior. I also do not like any handle or disk in those sizes (46-48). My current 46 is z-po, has no handle, no disk, and the symmetrical attachment point.Memento Audere Semper
