Alor Setar

Recommended Posts

Today we had our first day at Alor Setar International Tower jump 2005 with 6.5 hours of jumping. We have 12 jumpers from Malaysia, Australia, USA, UK, Norway and New Zealand.
A total of 113 jumps were made with out any incidents.
We would like to congratulate Greg and Jamie for both completing their 100th base jump. Also Gary broke the tower record, completing 23 jumps, doing all packing himself.

Jumping continues here for two more days with 8 hours of jumping per day.

Wow. Nice job, Gary. That's pretty freakin' impressive. Maybe we need another world record category. Most jumps in 8 hours packing for yourself, or something like that.

Was that on just one rig?

Tom> How about a record per object? cause besides packing, the object is the limitating factor :)

Sounds like good times over there.....

How many base jumps does a person need to be able to jump there.....

The final day of jumping at Menara Alor Setar was completed yesterday. Wind and rain slowed down the last day of jumping but 66 jumps were still made. We would like to congratulate Ted for completing his 100th base jump.
In the 3 days of jumping a total of 300 jumps were completed by 12 jumpers.

We would like to thank all jumpers who attended.

You're not the only one. I swear it looks like a little kid rolling up his sleeping bag to go to camp. :P

So, Gary, if you're banging out 25 a day at these events, how many are you up to total now?
