helldog 0 #1 January 7, 2004 What do you recommend for cleaning your z1 lens without scratching it???? (For the love of god...it scratches if I look at it wrong!!) Blue ones Jim
Clownburner 0 #2 January 7, 2004 I've used [url http://www.autogeek.net/meg18clearpl.html]this[url] pretty successfully. But it scratches eventually, you just kinda live with that. You can get replacement lenses when it gets bad enough.7CP#1 | BTR#2 | Payaso en fuego Rodriguez "I want hot chicks in my boobies!"- McBeth

Chief 0 #4 January 7, 2004 I use liquid "Soft Scrub" cleaner. It cleans and removes simple & numerous scratches. Good luck
Dumpster 0 #5 January 8, 2004 I use this Uvex cleaner I swipe from work - and an old cotton t-shirt. Paper towels, etc will scratch anything. It will still scratch, so figure on buying a new lens about once a year or so, depending on how much you jump it. I'm a little *cough* abusive with mine, and put a new lens in once a year. Costs about 20 bucks and takes ten minutes.
