Wingsuits in the military?

Seems like they would be pretty useful in some cases

A canopy will always have more range, require less training and allow people to carry 50 times more stuff than any wingsuit. Aside from a full on transformer deceptacon invasion, not many military scenarios where they would be useful:P

Just wondering if anyone knows if the military is developing or interested in wingsuit technology. Seems like they would be pretty useful in some cases, especially if they had a place they could land in them.

I was actually tasked with researching this, both fabric and hard wing versions as has been mentioned, simply isn't practical or applicable to the military environment in the current form factors.
