Me and a friend went for our first tandem jump. After talking to David and Richard we realized that they have a really good symbiosis with each other; we felt perfectly confident that they knew what they were doing.
we are going again for one more tandem jump, then for our certification

These guys are really good at what they do, so if you are looking to get your license or to just do a tandem free fall. These guys are the ones that can get you there.

The owner/operator, David, has more than 6,000 jumps under his belt, and does this as a weekend gig. I think that this is awesome because he doesn't treat it like a job, but more as a way of life, and he wants everyone to share it with him. Gary, the videographer, is a pretty funny character. He has loads of experience and is also a very qualified jumper. The pilot, Eric, is a commercial airline pilot with all of the credentials to assure any skeptic of a safe assent. With the help of David, anyone will feel very comfortable with their newly acquired knowledge of jumping procedures, and Gary will get every second on video for you. At the end of an awesome day of skydiving Gary gives you a disk with your video and still pictures spliced with music so that you and your loved ones will always remember your experience. These guys are awesome, and I can't wait to go back! Skydive Eagle's Nest!!!

The instructors were awesome! I got this as a birthday present and went with my girlfriend. We had such a great time and have already told all of our friends. I definately want to go again and again and again. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had. And the videos and pictures we got are absolutely priceless!!!

I wanted to go; my other half graciously volunteered himself to go with me. The instruction was to the point, not tedious. The atmo is relaxed and you are made to feel at home; the regulars are passionate and easygoing. David and Richard are a blast; I didn't feel the least bit apprehensive or scared; Shea was steady and professional. I have done some crazy things in my life, but I have never experienced an adrenaline rush like I got when I jumped out of that plane. I have already started recruiting others to go back with me. Easygoing, laid back and totally professional, the whole experience rocked. Two thumbs up, five stars, you get the idea!

This was my first time to skydive and the experience was well worth it. I would definatly go again, and I am also thinking about going for my certification. I would recommend anybody to David for instruction and/or a tandem jump.

Before I ever met him personaly, David had my hyped just from our phone conversations. Truly a professional and along with Rich's great photography my day and jump were literally beyond discription. Adjectives have not been created to properly explain my experience. Because of the training and information given I never felt any nervousness -- but my legs sure did begin shaking after I was back on terra firma and the adrenalin valve was closed. Thanks to both David and Rich for making my 70th so special.

This is an awesome dropzone. I jumped for the first time at Skydive Eagles Nest and David and Richard have the experience and passion to get anyone hooked. I had such an amazing experience that my wife and several of our friends are getting ready to make their first jump as soon as possible. These guys are truly amazing and they make sure you have have the knowledge to relax and really enjoy your jump. A big thank you goes out to David, Richard and Shea for making a memory I will never forget.

I did a tandem jump with David that went very well. Safety was the top priority at Eagles Nest. Everybody there was very helpful with whatever question I had. I could tell they were there because they loved the sport not the business. I will be going back to jump again as soon as possible. The video footage of the jump was just awesome. Richard does a very professional job with that part of it. He also kept me psyched the whole time even after the jump. The other jumpers that were there where very friendly and helpful as well. This was just an awesome experience.

I was celebrating my 70th Birthday with my first skyjump. David did an excellent job in making this happen . The prior instruction and guidance was really professional and also he made the jump to be lots of fun with his humor and instruction. And Richard was excellent in the filming.Richard ,the video was great , I just pulled thee rip cord too soon. I would love to do again at 71.

I completed my training for a static line jump last summer, but was unable to jump due to bad weather. David kindly rescheduled my jump and made sure I was retrained before jumping. The staff there is very friendly and having a fun time. David is a great trainer as he prepares you for any possible scenario giving you much confidence before jumping. I had such a great time that I am looking foward to going back to jump again. Once again, highly recommended.

I started my skydiving adventures at Skydive Eagles Nest and since then have made some great friends. I've made several jumps there and month after month find myself more and more addicted to the sport. I've not only learned a lot from David but from the other divers too. Everyone is always open to answering questions and helping out. Some weekends I like to just go out there and hang out. I do wish there was another plane and more staff. But if you do have to wait in line, at least you won't get too bored.

At first we drove up and we thought... man, this is redneck skydiving. and to an extent it was, but in a funny, positive way. They really teach you what do do in all situations and they give you feel of skydiving before you ever leave the ground.

I have been to this DZ twice within the last year while visiting family. David Watts, the DZO, is a wonderful person who truly desires to provide you with the best experience you can possibly have. I did my father's ashes jump there and he was kind enough to send me up alone with the plane even though he had tandems waiting. He was considerate enough to leave money on the ground so that I could have a more personal experience. He has also go on a jump with me so that I wouldn't have to do a solo. Even though it's a small drop zone, it offers a great time.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about any of the folks out at Skydive Eagle's Nest. You can really tell that these guys love what they do, so it's not just about getting as much jumps (money) as possible in a day. I have the feeling that even if no students were to show up, David and the whole crew would still be out there every weekend jumping. After going through my S/L course with David, I felt any nervousness dissolve away. You'll get safety, great instruction, and lots of laughs from a great bunch of guys for what is probably the best price around.

These guys make me want to throw people out of planes for a living!

My girlfriend surprised me with skydiving for our anniversary, and what an experience it was. This was my first time to go skydiving and everything was perfect. David really cares, and made the two of us feel safe about jumping. To say even more good things about David, my girlfriends main chute got jammed, and within a blink of an eye David had the reserve going. It shows that he really knows his stuff, and saved both their lives. Other than that great people, incredible time, probably be back sometime soon. Thanks again guys.

I decided to spend a free day on my business trip at Skydive Eagle's Nest, and it sure was worth a 2-hour drive. A small place with family-like feeling to it. Great bunch of people -- friendly and professional. C-182 in a good shape. Good spots. A lot of open space to land. I wish the packing area was a little larger. I guess I was a bit unlucky to get nasty gusty winds (landed out once in spiky mesquite shrubs -- ouch!), but, according to locals, this kind of weather is quite unusual there, so it doesn't qualify for a con. Keep in mind the DZ ground elevation of about 3,000' -- you can definitely feel it, and it was enough to screw up my landing flare. This elevation probably explains why they only go to 10,000' AGL...

Would I go there again, if I happen to be in the area? Most definitely! David -- two thumbs up for running this great place! :)

Everyone at Eagles Nest is out there because they love skydiving. the jumpmasters, pilot, and friends are all out there making sure everyone that jumps knows what is going on and has the knowledge needed to have a safe skydive. I have made two jumps and are planning more. I would recommend Eagles Nest to everyone.

After completing some static line jumps in Military School some 12 years ago I felt that this would be fun as my wife bought her adrenaline loving husband a tandem skydive expierience. I made it out to Eagle's Nest after about a year of procrastination to do what I thought I already knew so much about. BOY was I wrong. I AM HOOKED! David and the crew really know how to make people feel right at home with how they explained the ins and outs of skydiving and not rubbing in the obvious mistakes I made. That is what I mean by hospitality. EXTREME hospitality comes from the professionalism and absolute genuine love for the sport that radiates out of everyone involved. I walked away from a very successful jump reluctant to leave and ready to go back. My wife who does not hold the same love for "scary" things that I do,(her words)gave the whole crew at Eagle's Nest a BIG thumbs up and now regrets buying me the jump quoting they have turned me into a junky. Thanks again guys and I can't wait to see you all again.
