Our aircraft is professionally maintained and operated by certified personnel. Safety always comes first at Skydive Lone Star! Great Location Skydive Lone Star is the premier skydiving center close to Austin, San Antonio and Houston. Our Facilities Our facilities include: An office Building with Classroom, which houses manifest (This is where you will check in before you jump), a packing trailer, and a rigging Loft. Rigging & Gear Skydive Lone Star offers a wide variety of rigging services. Also Texas's premier skydiving center, Skydive Lone Star is a dealer for many of the leading skydiving equipment manufacturers. We are proud to offer our students, and experienced jumpers, brand new, state of the art equipment. If you jump our gear and love it, come talk to us! All of our gear is available for purchase.

The place is/was a shit hole run by a crook who had worn out dangerous gear and failed to maintain his plane.

If you are in Texas, this has gotta be a dropzone you go to! It was one of the first places I jumped after getting licensed (on twin otters and caravans), so imagine my surprise riding that INSANE king air to altitude?!? SHOCKED AND EXCITED. 7 MINUTES TO ALTITUDE, PEOPLE! SEVEN!!! No joke. Only con is the door is kinda small and the fact that the plane is going FAST that you do have to hurry out of it a bit! But I love this place. The people are really awesome. Even if you make a rookie mistake like me, they will help you out. Everyone is willing to explain things to you if you're new, and if you're, well, NOT new to the sport, then you'll have plenty of people willing to challenge your abilities and bring you to the next level. Landing area is nice, packing trailer is good; plenty of well maintained rental gear, I trust the rigger, he is a great guy.

This a young DZ that is really starting to stand out in Texas. The staff is great, always willing to fun jump between work loads and give coaching. The Kind Air is the fastest jump plane I've been in, (climbs like a beast) really good pilot who I've come to really trust.
