I'd been trying to make my first jump for months - each time I scheduled, weather fought me- finally I got a break. I'd been in touch with the manager Leslie on a near weekly basis trying to get my jump and we finally got a day that was overcast, but promised to hold off. I made the drive and passed through more than a couple patches of rain.

I arrived and as I came in Leslie, though having only met me once before, recognized me and told me there was space on the next load, hurry up! I was quickly and professionally introduced to my tandem instructor, suited up, and we were on our way to the plane (full instruction had previously been given- they make sure everyone's educated and safe!). The TI reviewed safety and procedure as we suited and as we climbed to altitude.

It's safe to say i'll be returning for my AFF as soon as it warms up. The staff I met in my couple visits were all friendly, the management is professional, and they really do care about you having a great experience.

In terms of amenities, their hangar is limited - restrooms are a short walk over to the main airport building as is vending. They do have a padded packing area but i didn't explore to see what else is available in terms of class space, or areas to dirt dive / practice EPs. Less than 5 minutes away are numerous restaurants, shopping, and I believe a couple of hotels.

Like the short description says, one of the two best DZ's in Tennessee! They have really nice planes, Turbines for busy days, and a Cessna for slower days, The staff is incredible! Always eager to help anyone improve their stills, and to help you get as many jumps as you can! Other DZ's have been labeled "Tandem Mills", well, as for most any DZ, Tandems are a majority of their business, but experienced jumpers have no problem getting jumps, so that being said, Skydive Tennessee is definitely NOT a "Tandem Mill"! They even schedule loads just for experienced jumpers, like the recent night jumps!
Come jump at Tullahoma!

Wife and I took our first skydive at Waverly. My instructor was Jeff and my wife had Chuck. Both were very knowlegdeable and had over 12,000 jumps between them. I was scared to get out of the plane. Jeff kept me calm the whole time. Once outside the plane and in the belly position for the freefall I became relaxed. Very peaceful, serene, and an awesome adrinealine rush. When the main shute was pulled you receive another. The float down offers a beautiful view of the surrounding area and a time to reflect. Great experience and would highly recommend these 2 instructors to everyone. Especially a first time jumper. To Christ be the glory. Thanks.

I drove to this DZ from out of State one summer day of 2009. Before I arrived on a Saturday Morning, I was told by the staff over the telephone the plane would be running and there would be no problem for me getting in the air. Well, after I arrived and signed the waiver, I was scheduled for the last load of the day. It was only 10:00am at the time. I was going to be the only fun jumper on the last load. I saw no other fun jumpers during my short stay and I did not stick around. This place is clearly a tandem factory. Hopefully things change at this DZ for 2010. I will return if other fun jumpers are around and every load is not filled with tandems, but I respect the owner if he likes his business ran this way.

I just wanted to send a quick note of thanks. My friend, Kim and I jumped for the first time on Saturday with your group, and we had a fantastic time. Even though we were delayed for several hours by the weather, your instructors kept us entertained and made the wait worthwhile.

Kim jumped with Greg, and I jumped with Harold. We both had amazing experiences and can't wait to come back and do it again! Also, Jason took some really great pictures that will help us to remember our first dive forever.

Thanks for the experience and keep up the good work.

I'm not huge into writing reviews, but I am huge into reading them...so I figure it's time to give back a little. Besides, they deserve it! You can't go wrong at this place, the tandem was SO worth it.

My instructor (Mark G.) was friendly and made the whole experience fun for my first tandem. I ask a lot of questions because I like to learn things, and the folks there answered every one of them with a smile on their face. I felt like I was in good hands, despite the fact that I was jumping from a plane for the first time.

The experience was so much fun for me at Tennessee Skydiving, LLC. that I will be signing up to take their AFF training over at their sister facility, West Tennessee Skydiving (WTS) near Memphis. So they've converted one more civilian into a future skydiver...that spells good business!

I did a tandem skydive here - my first jump - it was a wonderful experience!! I was impressed with the professionalism of everyone on staff. The tandem instructors make you feel very safe and take you through the whole process step by step. They make it all so much fun that you (almost) forget to be scared. The plane was a bit smaller than I expected but I think that they may use different planes depending on how many reservations they get. This was THE BEST thing I have ever done and I highly recommend these folks to anyone else making a first jump. Go for it!! You won't regret it!

If you're a first time jumper, this is a great place to start for this area. The staff takes great care of you and the aircraft are awesome. If you're an experienced jumper and the King Air is not there, you may have a hard time getting on a load. With the Super Cessna only being able to hold 5 it makes it hard on us with the tandems. But its still a nice DZ. All I can say is check it out for yourselves and enjoy the blue skies.

I have wanted to jump for over a year. Last fall, we traveled to a DZ that was not professional - really quite scary.

Our trip started from Lebanon, Tennesse - 20min east of Nashville was just over an hour drive time to the DZ. Upon arriving, we spoke with the person we contacted weeks before. The area was nice, clean and had a deck for observation. The airfield is large and open with a nice FBO onsite and adequate facilites to fly in prior to your jump.

Beezy was my tandem instructor. Very professional and matter of fact as to what would happen during the experience. Other instructors did the same.

As for the KingAir - WOW what a plane. We jumped off the ground with a full load of jumpers- actually - we jumped off the runway like a harrier jump jet.

Being a 1st timer, I felt more comfortable when the tandem connection was double checked by another experienced jumper. Free fall was a very different experience. Beezy had prepared me for everything that happened.

All 5 of us had a great time. From arrival to certificates took less than 2.5 hours. These guys know how to ensure a good experience.

They delivered everything we expected.

We are planning to return for another jump!
