First drop zone I ever skydived at and started out as a static line student. The staff is very friendly and willing to help out their students as much as possible! Currently I am working towards my A-license and I am getting closer and closer to it. I wouldn't have come this far if it weren't for the amazing staff at Skydive Adventures to help me out! Just want them to get a Turbine airplane ;) FYI the address is in Luverne, MN 30 miles East of Sioux Falls, SD.

Only jumped once. The rental gear was in good repair, and the rigger inspired confidence in the gear. The plane and landing area were well maintained.

Great staff and great instruction. I am currently working towards my A license at Skydive Adventures and have had a blast the entire time! The staff are experienced and professional yet very laid back. It's a weekend only (with a few exceptions) DZ and as long as the weather is good they're jumping! I know that I will have a lot of future weekends spent there!

I have worked in the NW Iowa and SW Minnesota areas a several times in the past 3 years. I have called to get information about doing some skydiving and bringing in some of my co-workers for tandem jumps. I have left several messages during each visit to this region but no one has ever returned my call. I did, one time, come out of my hotel in Pipestone, MN to find someone left a business card on the windsheild wiper of my truck (displaying skydiving and USPA logo's) and took this as in invitation, but still no luck. USPA should look into actions like this and possibly revoke their membership. This gives the rest of the facilities and the sport a bad name for anyone interested in skydiving. Maybe the only way they will do anything is if someone calls 1-800-SKYDIVE for that 3rd party organization to charge people more money to make a phone call.
WTF, Over?!!

My first experience with Skydive Adventures was last summer, when I enrolled in a FJC in July. I showed up expecting 6 boring hours, followed by half an hour or so of fun. Turns out, the whole time was fun! The staff members found ways to make everything enjoyable.

Nine months later, I still love hanging out at the DZ, even if I can't jump due to the insanely hit-or-miss weather.

On one weekend, I spent 6 hours under a wind hold, watching the wind meter go past 30mph, and the direction swinging around like a crazed monkey on a carousel. The next day, I came back to find 5mph winds steady from one direction.

Funny thing? I still had fun on the Saturday, chatting with the other folks at the DZ, watching videos, and learning new things.

I suppose what this long, rambling affair can be condensed to is this:

if you're looking for a drop zone for your first jump, or if you're an experienced jumper, Skydive Adventures is a great place to go.

The aircraft, incidentally, are a Cessna 182 and a 206.
