I came here to finish my A-license from a different drop zone. I had 21 jumps at another DZ. I was very impressed with the time and detail that the instructors gave me in the short time I was there. Although this DZ is almost 3 hours away from my house, I will make the drive to jump here every chance I get. Positive attitudes and willingness to help a student from another DZ is why I give them 5 stars and will recommend them to anyone.

Understand that I'm a student and I'm going to give a student review. I have 14 jumps out of state and highly enjoyed them. I came to Paraclete to finish my course and was very disappointed. World class Drop Zone with world class trainers but that does not do me any good as a student. I stayed for 24 hours but the weather was not always ideal (when is it ever) for student jumping. When the weather did get within the limits (short periods) they still chose not to jump students. I literally came with thousands in my pocket and I will be taking my business somewhere else. The only advantage as a student is that have a wind tunnel close by. Use the wind tunnel but go somewhere else to finish your courses.

This was the most amazing experience of my life. I've said it before and I will continue to say it. Anytime anyone asks me about what I think of my first tandem jump or what I think of Sky Dive Paraclete XP my response will always be the same. The staff are the greatest in the world, nothing but professional from start to finish and they do everything they can to make this the most memorable experience of your life. If you don't fall in love with this this sport or this facility then there is something wrong with you not them because the staff are all World Class Rock Stars. I will never go anywhere else to make another jump , it is totally worth the drive to get here. You will have memories that will stay with you forever and that is because of the People at this location.. You can go skydiving anywhere in the world but there is not enough that can be said about someone who truly loves what they do and everyone I encountered at both of their facilities love what they do and it shows .. Everyone is professional and goes above and beyond to make you feel at ease and do everything they can to make this the most amazing experience of your life , they are World Class Rock Stars and I will be going back for more. I am totally hooked. Thank you for making my dream came true, you guys are the best.

I just love this place. they have all those good things i listed above but most important this is not yet another tandem factory. people do very different things here: world class 4 and 8 way teams, bigways, freefly, swooping and and just fun jumping! there is always someone to jump with and learn from.

This DZ is basically right around the corner from the Paraclete wind tunnel, and flies turbine aircraft, and with world-recognized skydiving coaches around here in almost every discipline, it is a very good dz to come to if you're training with your team in the tunnel. But just as a heads-up... If you are a solo RW skydiver, especially without a lot of experience and/or on a weekday, do not count on many people wanting to jump with you, if any. Freeflyers at this DZ outnumber belly fliers 10:1. Most of the belly fliers that do go there are training with their team, and the coaches are usually training those teams. Also, there has been a few times several teams have been training, plus fun jumpers, plus students and tandems... All out of 1 otter. The teams and tandems, of course, get first dibs, but even they had 2 and 3-hour wait times between loads. That, though, has only happened a couple times. Also, beware of the pilots. I was training with a team and we had a pass at altitude of the unsure-spot type. The pilot told us to exit now because he "didn't have fuel enough for a second pass". The student program is quite expensive but extremely accelerated, incorporating the wind tunnel as part of student training (I never took lessons here but as an AFF instructor myself, I have a habit of checking out syllabuses of different dzs to try and better myself). For AFF training (skydiving lessons) here, you will only have one instructor through your early progression, although the Skydivers Information Manual (www.uspa.org) has recommended two instructors for your first three jumps. People jumping tandems, Skydive Paraclete XP has as good a' tandem instructors as any as far as I can see, and the prices are around the same as neighboring dropzones.

I really love how much this place is growing; there are new additions every single time I jump there. With the amount of planes and gear available, there is little to no wait time between loads. Also, the school has just been redesigned and is definitely a winner by encompassing the wind tunnel into the student program. If you want to learn from the best, jump here.
