Sin City Skydiving

Went to Sin City Skydiving for my first tandem jump with a friend. The tandem instructors (Jace and Brince) were friendly, funny and really made the whole experience amazing. They may be a smaller outfit than others in Vegas area, but they make the experience personal and memorable.
They made the experience so great that I am now taking the AFF classes in order to get my class A.

1 of 3 near vegas (about 20mins drive) the other 2 are tandem factories. Very small outfit run by very professional people. They only have a small 5 seater plane but this is excellent for fun jumpers. Gave me lots of helpful advise and made the whole experience great. I went with a friend who did his 1st tandem and we went up on our own load. Do not confuse these guys with Vegas extreme skydiving who operate from the same DZ - they are a tandem factory only and are not welcoming at all to fun jumpers. Many thanks to Brad and his team for making jumping in Vegas memorable for me. I will 100% be back when next over there.

Sin City's friendly, professional, knowledgable staff made me feel like one of the family. They have a very clean 206 with cargo/ roll-up door. This is a small DZ with the right people and attitude to get big. Much thanks to Brad and his staff for making my experience one for the books. Other DZ's in the area may want to take notes. While at Sin City, check out his neighbor, The Soaring Center, for a glider experience second to none..... I DID!!!! You all rock..... Blue Skies!!!

I'm a Vegas local and usually jump out at Mesquite but was invited to check out Sin City. I wasn't sure what to expect being that the other Vegas DZ's are tandem factory operations and do not welcome fun jumpers, but I was pleasantly surprised to see a few fun jumpers when I arrived. They do tandems but also teach AFF and welcome fun jumpers of all skill levels and I was really impressed with how friendly the staff was. The 206 was a comfortable ride to altitude, the gear I rented was well maintained, and it only took me 30 minutes to get to Sin City from my house in North Las Vegas.

Sin City is relatively new from what I understand but I really think they have a lot of potential to become an awesome fun-jumper friendly DZ (and Vegas' only one at that) if more locals would go out there and give it a try. The DZO told me that if 3 fun jumpers came out he'd run the plane all day as many times as we wanted.

These people are awesome to jump with. They will not try to take advantage of you, like other dropzones in vegas,to make money.Fantastic customer service. Will go the extra mile for you to accomplish your jump.

I called to book a tandem for my friend and Dawn was super friendly, unlike another DZ I called. I am a fun jumper and was able to get on the same load. Best dropzone I have been to with no attitude. Great people, you will have the best experience here whether you are a first timer or a licensed jumper. When I come back to Las Vegas, I will definitely go to Sin City again.

These people were great. We will tell all our friends to go here. Sin City Skydiving did every thing they said they were going to for us. Took us to the altitude we were told we were going to, the round trip from the strip was about 3 hours. Dawn, Brad, and Brince were funny and very relaxing they walked us through every portion of our skydive and made us at ease with every thing. This place was GREAT if you are going skydiving in Las Vegas this is the place to go. Sin City Skydiving will take great care of you.

I did not get to sky dive with them, so I have no say in how they are in that field, but I recommend not to make reservations with them if you aren't willing to lose money even if you had good reason.

The short story is that after arriving in Vegas, with skydiving the next morning, a drunk driver being chase by the police slam in my other groups car at 60mph+ and all 4 were injured and take to the hospital and the car was totaled. I spent the whole night at the hospital and the next day at the police station after my dad drove from California to see us. The night at the car accident, I called sincity to tell them about my accident and to beg them not to charge us 50 dollars. After arriving from Vegas, I checked my online banking and saw that they had charge us 100 dollar. I called them and they said they cannot refund the deposit but would gladly minus it from our next skydiving if we were to choose to come again.

To sum it up.

There website should list that its 50 per person that reserves not 50 a reservation.

And they can be a little kind with there policy of refund deposit, if there was a refund deposit available. AFter hearing so much good things about them, I expected a refund but I was disappointed.

I went to vegas the other week and couldnt find anyone who wasent a tandem factory untill i spoke to dawn at sin city. The plane is small and they are a new facility but they sure make up for it. Dawn the facility manager kept my wife comfortable on the ground. Brad the jump master kept things going in the air. I recomend to anyone who wants to jump go here weather its solo or tandem. Either way they will take care of you i no next time im in vegas this is where i will jump

The people there are amazing. Very Freindly. Very helpful toward earning my license. Wouldn't go anywhere else in Vegas area. Small outfit not in it for the money, just a good jumping atmosphere.

They have a 206U full time and there was a caravan there for the new years boogie.
The boogie was a blast and had many visiting skydivers from washington and oregon present for full caravan loads to 13,000ft.

Sincity skydiving has really gone the extra mile to welcome funjumpers in Vegas.

There were a few local skydivers who resented the dzo because he inforced USPA BSR's, but most of the funjumpers were cool and the staff was very profesional.

I had alot of fun while I was there and plan on returning for the next boogie.

Just got back from Vegas and tried to jump at sin city. After several calls to the dz office and being told that there were no tandems,so no lifts were available I gave up.Took the drive up i-15
to mesquite where I was able to jump.
What gets me is,a dz so close to Vegas could make such good business with fun jumpers and not just tandems.Shame,was really looking forward to jumping there.

This is the best drop zone I have found in the Las Vegas area. They are not a tandem factory like the other two DZs in the area. They welcome jumpers of all skill levels and are really trying to establish a good relationship with experienced jumpers. After jumping at all three DZs I see no reason to go anywhere else in the Vegas area.
