I went to the dz to finish my A lic. Everyone was great on helping. I would like to say a big thanks to Jim for taking me on as a student and if you have not gone to this drop zone you need to. You will have the time of your life.
Have fun flying.
Thanks

Had a wonderful 4th of July weekend at Tecumseh and the people are awesome. Had a blast jumping with people and attempting a hybrid. Anyone want to do a hybrid? This is the place...they LOVE doing them.

I'll definitely be back soon.

This is the best dropzone I have been to so far. The people at Skydive Tecumseh are incredible. There are plenty of very experienced freeflyers and swoopers (Sporto and Marshall for example) and lots of great belly flyers too. The twin otter they have is the fastest otter anywhere and has an excellent pilot. What everyone else says about the bon fires and parties is true they are a blast! If you are visiting the area be sure to stop by, I know I will be making the short trip across the border from Canada a lot more often next year.

This past summer me and my friends did tandem jumps twice. Everyone was friendly, funny, and helpful. Usually any questions are answered before they're asked. And I will be returning to Skydive Tecumseh in Spring 04 for training. I can't wait.

Skydive Tecumseh is the place to go in Michigan. It has been around since before "Christ was a Christian" but the new owners have done a fantastic job bringing the flight line and attitudes to the modern age.

It has very large student and experienced landing areas with lots of "outs", if you need to use one, and no Farmer McNasties that will keep your gear or chase you off the property with a shotgun.

It has a high emphasis on safety for all jumpers, regardless of experience level, and plenty of very good experienced jumpers that are more than willing to jump with the inexperienced folks. The level of friendliness is unsurpassed at this DZ !!!

It is the home DZ of the world famous "Sporto" and has the best Saturday night bonfires in the midwest.Best Karma of any DZ around.
