I have become a huge fan of this family friendly drop zone! I have made friends with most of the people that frequent Pepperell to toss themselves out of planes! I enjoyed my tandem with Alex (the Crazy Russian) so much that I made my friend Kail(e) come down and now he is 14 jumps into his AFF! Living only 10 minutes from Pepperell and 2 minutes from the new Sky Venture in Nashua makes my new favorite past time the greatest experience of my life. If it wasn't for the coaching I have received from Dave and Bill than I wouldn't still be skydiving today! Thank you Skydive Pepperell! Everyone should visit this DZ at least once to enjoy the huge landing area surrounded by trees and friendly people! Blue Skies!

As soon as I set foot on the DZ I was greeted and welcomed by the staff. Extremely friendly. They have one of the best maintained Twin Otters that I have ever seen. VERY concerned about safety rightly so and I have always felt safe here.

My only complaint is the lack of packers. I've missed a few loads because my rig wasn't packed, which led to me packing it myself. It saved me $7, but wasted time.

Other than that it is the friendliest DZ I have been to.

My name is bryan B I moved to boston in oct 09 and shortly found my self at this dropzone, from the moment I walked up to manifest everyone is hey who are you... welcome to the dz...... come jump with us...... I never have been to a dropzone like that in my life just so truly friendly and helpful.. the packers all the way up to the owner are super smart and can answer almost any question about skydiving tandems, aff, or any thing you can think of....... now as far as safety goes, THEY ARE THE ALPHA DOG HERE their tandem and aff instructors are amazing and super safe, I've watched the packers inspect each tandem rig every time they pack it,

I would have no problem sending friends and family to this dropzone to do tandem skydives or aff or just to hang out .... if you have a car and a parachute get your butt on the higway to this DZ
if you want to learn to skydive get in the car and get to this dropzone

I can promise you a fun exciting time, its not like any other dropzone I have been to because everytime I jump here I feel like I'm with my family!!!!!

BEST DROPZONE EVER!!!!!

Flew up from Ga up for the CASA boogie, had a blast! Nice DZ, friendly people, good location and scenery, efficient manifest and fast packers even though they were swamped.

However, please PLEASE get more than 1 shower!!!! Especially for a boogie with loads of campers! We intended to camp at the DZ but ended up paying for a local hotel as there was only 1 shower on the DZ and you can only use it between 9pm and 6am so basically you couldn't :)

I was 40 min away on business and thought I would just drive down to check it out not intending on jumping. I was late in the day in the middle of the week at the very begining of the season. The drive out was awesome (From Texas). I rolled up saw the Otter and 206's and got excited. The people that were there were wonderful and after showing them my skydiving credentials, they they wanted to get a load up and they had good rental gear sooooo....how could I pass it up. It was awesome, They were hella friendly and let me borrow all the gear I needed. We rocketed up in the 206 (on steroids)and I go the tour all the way up. You could clearly see all of Boston MA, Manchester NH, Cap Cod...It was way cool. We had an awesome dive and a scenic Canopy ride. As I said before I'll be back!!!

I've just passed by Peperell, MA last thursday, we were on the road with a friend and decided to do some fun jumps : what a welcome. only 15 minutes after we get there we were on the otter load, climbing in the air.
the people there were really cool ones, helpful for 2 losts tourists and hell : if the weather's bad ... you're just 10 minutes from Skyventure NH .

the landing area is wide enough to allow a lot of jumpers finding their way safely to the ground. there are also quite numerous «plan B» landing zones ... just in case ;)

2 Thumbs up Peperell, you'll see me again for sure !

I took several trips to Florida over the winter to finish my A license. When April rolled around in New England and we started to get some good weather I was anxious to get back in the air. I had never jumped at Pepperell, but it is located about 30 minutes from my office. Monday was a beatiful day so I skipped out of the office a bit early and went to Pepperell hoping to jump. Upon my arrival I spoke with a very friendly manifest who got me set up and asked the DZO about possible rental gear so I could jump. While they were working that out, Dave introduced himself and gave me a briefing on the DZ and reviewed the aerial photo with me describing the landing area and possible outs. They had just opened the day before so rental gear was not readily available but the DZO swapped canopies around in a couple of rigs herself to make my jump possible. Everyone I met was helpful, friendly and professional. I went back the next day for the sunset load for a similar experience where manifest knew me by name after just having met the day before. I will be back...

I'm addicted to you! Crazy, awesome, cool, friendly, welcoming atmosphere and people. The ability and mind-set of these people is contagious. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I don't think this DZ warrants a 5-star rating. It's not a sh**hole but it's not the best I've ever seen either. They are quite expensive, which is what you get, I guess, when you're near Boston. The Otter was pretty slow, and they do something funky with tandems - they drop them out at about 10 or 11K and then take the experienced jumpers up higher. Yet they charge the going rate for a tandem from 13.5. When I took my cousin there (when I lived in the area) to do his first jump, the tandem master was quite rude to him. They have packing areas and a small food concession, but no bunkhouse (at least when I went there), video rooms, or restrooms (they had port-a-potties). Like I said, not the worst, but not the best either.

This place is great. In the last couple of years I have been able to jump with world class jumpers as well as inexperienced jumpers. Its a great environment to learn how to skydive. They have a great landing area, and from my own experience, many great outs. Don's shop is excellent with great riggers. Skippy food is also great. Pepperell is a very kid friendly, which is great form my son to watch me do the thing I love. The music in the hanger is an ecletic mix of hairless mochoism. Also, my wife who does not jump is also made to feel welcome. All in all a great place to spend the weekend
