The Skydive Experience

I bought a jump for my husband for christmas at the end of 2013 and paid in full. The jump was good thru Aug. 2014. He scheduled his jump before the end of aug. 2014 and this place cancelled and rescheduled everytime the jump was supposed to happen. Now I cant get in contact with them to get a refund since it is obviously to cold to jump now so I guess Im just out $300. Funny part is they may be $300 richer but they really lost alot of business from us because my husband had three friends, his brother, and his dad who was going to book with them for a jump too.....they are taking their money somewhere else now.

I made my second jump here on Saturday the 5th. The people are great. My instructor Matt was patient and competent. They make you feel at home even though I'm only a student.I haven't been to but two drop zones, but the rest have a high mark to meet.

The guys were extremely friendly and took me in like family. I highly recommend calling them if your in the area! AC packing area, 2 182's, plenty of room, friendly, what more could you want!

This DZ will be my home for the next several years while I'm here in Louisiana. I found the DZ to have great people, a zeal for the sport, and a professional training program. Local jumpers are friendly and eager to jump. The aircraft are well maintained and pilots were safe and efficient. The DZO was extremely friendly and supportive. One of the best small DZs I've ever been to. It felt like I was at home the minute I walked in the door and introduced myself. I look forward to making many more jumps at The Skydive Experience!

I was very pleased with my experience at this drop zone. Instruction was great, and my first 4 static line jumps went great! I look forward to returning to this drop zone many more times in the future!

The Skydive Experience of Vivian, LA, is the only dropzone I'll ever jump at in North Louisiana. There professional staff is extremely courteous and very welcoming. This is North Louisiana's ONLY PROFESSIONAL USPA certified Dropzone operating out of a REAL airport. Definitely Louisiana Premier Skydive Experience. Located just 25 minutes north of Shreveport/Bossier City.

I wanted to thank Donnie,Tommy,Will and Jeff for training me. I currently have completed 10 jumps now. I have 15 more to go to get my A License.

They have a nice A/C packing area and lounge. There Cessna 182 is very clean and well maintain.


I would recommend this DZ to anyone who wants to do a tandem skydive or learn to skydive.Great place.

Nice location with air conditioned packing. Cleanest well kept C-182 I have ever seen.A real family atmosphere which is hard to find nowadays.

I went to visit family in Shreveport and had the need for a jump. Unfortunately, I left all my gear in San Antonio. I found this DZ on DZ.com and called Donnie (on a Saturday) to see if they rented (they do) and were jumping on Sunday (initially, they were not). Nevertheless, Donnie called up a couple of people to see if they wanted to jump on Sunday, and sure enough, we had enough people to make a couple of jumps. Donnie made all this happen and then called me to let me know we were good to go for Sunday jumps (talk about service). I was VERY surprised to see people actually helping out, especially when my home DZ (San Marcos) doesnt like to help anyone unless you are a tandem. (Of course there are nice people at San Marcos too, but it is hard to find them...and not a good vibe).

Skydive Experience maybe new but everything about them is professional. I will be returning whenever I visit family from now on. THANKS Donnie, Chris and Tommy for the FUN.

This is a new drop zone with a staff base dedicated to building the sport jumper. Nice aircraft, friendly people, a/c packing, two thumbs up

Wife wanted to go skydiving so I couldn't let her show me up. Now I am hooked and can't wait for another jump. The staff here are great and love to skydiving. The town is just the right size with close food and what-not. Airport is easy to get to and well marked.
