This is a great 182 dz. The instruction is top notch and a fun place to hang around. It is practically wide open landing areas so you don't have to worry about making it back on a long spot. Everyone is super friendly and will make you feel at home. I recommend it to everyone I know that is looking for a new small 182 DZ in the area.

Bill Geaslin is the best tandem instructor and skydiver i know, and William Caldwell is just as good. Between these two professionals you will have the experience of a lifetime. There keep all operations safe and fun and provide an environment that will keep you flying at the highest level the sport can offer.

They really made me feel like family. It only took me one visit to know I had found home. Thank you to Bill and all the great staff.

This was the second DZ that I jumped at in Northern Louisiana. Growing up at a large Turbine DZ and competing at various events over the course of 3 years (2-way, 4-way, and 2-way VRW; 700+ jumps) I found this DZ to be hands down the best in the region. Air conditioned packing area, pet friendly, games and events on the ground for the spectators, etc. As far as the jumping and safety goes... WIDE open space with lots of outs, no power-lines or tall trees close to the landing area, and no worries of landing on an active public runway; nice little private grass strip, AND AND the experience level of the staff, they have the most experienced jumpers in the region with a plethora of instruction, coaching, and competition experience from around the country.

I will be calling Skydive Louisiana my home DZ for the foreseeable future!

This is a nice small DZ. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. Bill, the DZO, is super friendly as were the locals. It definitely has a bit of local flare which adds to the fun of visiting the DZ. I'll be back when I come back to Shreveport for a visit.

Felt at home right away. More experienced guys eager to help answer questions. Crazy funny stuff going around once you hang out a little and get the private jokes. Good influx of diverse people. Nice open areas if your canopy skills lack some precision. Lots of cotton fields around (yes I have used more than one of them). Very few obstacles. Nice scenery. Casinos only 20 min away. Great place to jump w/ friends.

This is the kind of place where friends are made and fond memories are born . I went here seeking recurency trainning and what I found was my new home DZ. The staff is as professional as it gets . unlike other dropzones you dont get that feeling that the biggest thing on there minds is your pocket book. Load organization manifestis a simple affair as is the case with most 182 DZ's. But the outstanding quality of this place is the staff !!. If you cant live with out a turbine this is not the place for you . If great atmosphere, a safty oriented staff means any thing to you then you will enjoy this place.
