Skydive Kentucky - Elizabethtown

As a birthday present to my boyfriend on his 30th I booked a tandem skydive for the both of us. It was his first time, my fourth, and together our first at Skydive Kentucky. We had a blast! The only bad thing was that it was cold (I blame him for being born in November!) but the experience was WELL worth it! Walking into the facility we were immediately greeted by friendly and professional staff. Jim calmed our nerves during the training/ orientation session. The jump itself was incredible and we can't wait to return during the warmer months! I definitely recommend Skydive Kentucky for anyone- first timer or experienced jumper. Thanks to all the staff for a great time and we'll see ya next year!

I was met with a warm welcome. There was no confusion or questions. The flight was smooth I could have had a glass of water without spilling. The folks were comfortable and they like to crack a few jokes....which is good to get the nerves out. I jumped tandem at 14,000ft and I felt secure and actually was able to get control of the chute for a while. Landing was soft and on target... What a rush!! and not for one second did I feel like I was in danger. Thanks Mike.

I traveled 2 1/2 hours to come to this drop zone. As an experienced skydiver it is easy to be critical of other drop zones. But after visiting Skydive Kentucky I found an amazing little drop zone that I now refer to as my second home dz.

The first time I visited I was welcomed by Jim and Tammy who immediately showed me their facilities, how the operations ran and their aircraft. As an instructor I was impressed with the organization of their student programs, the amount of time the staff spent with their students and the knowledge of their instructors.

If you are a student looking for a quality drop zone to begin your skydiving career, then you should look no further than Skydive Kentucky.

If you are an experienced skydiver, then you should definitely find time to check out this amazing drop zone. You will not be disappointed!

Jim and his crew were awesome - this was my second jump and my boyfriends first. They made us both feel right at home... They really wanted to make sure we got the most out of our day - I cant wait to go back for more.

We were in the area for military function and are experienced skydivers. We were welcomed with open arms and felt right at home. We had a great time and will come back again. Thank you all for such a great time.

This was my first Tandem jump and what a terrific experience! The moment I stepped into the facility I was greeted by the awesome, professional, knowledgeable staff. From the training, the gear up right up until the actual jump, I could rely on the staff to answer my questions honestly and professionally. The calmed my anxiety and led me step by step through the best adrenaline rush of my life! I will definitely do it again! Thanks SKYDIVE KENTUCKY! Lovin' that "blue light" special!

When I walked into the DZ office I immediately could tell there was a good vibe and friendly people. They set my mom and I up for the next day and when we arrived they were very quick to get us going and explained everything we needed to know. They couldn't fit my mom and I in the same plane, but they set me up on the spot to go again so I could go with her. Larry and Mike as well as Jim and Tammy were awesome. Bottom line: go to Skydive Kentucky.

Went for the first time this past week and Jim and his staff were very professional, put you at ease and trained you on what to expect. I would recommend their facility to anyone that wants to experience the thrill of skydiving!!

Friendly folks and thorough training. They made sure I understood the safety procedures and what to expect while making sure I had fun. Although I was nervous, I had a blast and cannot wait to go back!!

these are amazing people. The first tandem was all I figured i'd do. Now I have 3 total jumps. Two tandem one stadic line. They are the most proffesional and fun people to be around. Me and my wife were welcomed by the entire staff from the start. We now are on our way to getting our license. You can ask any or however many questions you want to anyone. They make you so at ease. Jim Tammy mike Larry and the whole staff thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you guys have taught us and how you lead us. We are so glad to have you guys for or instructors.

My sister and I visited Skydive Kentucky yesterday and had a blast. Neither of us had ever been before, but Jim and Mike (our tandem instructors) made us feel extremely comfortable. We had such good instruction and preparation, that neither of us felt nervous jumping out of a plane at 10,000 feet. It was probably one of the most fun experiences of my life. My mom (who came to watch, and would never dreamed of skydiving) wants to go with us next time. Kudos to the Skydive Kentucky team!

This was the first time I ever jumped and what an experience it was. Everyone here is great and the dive was absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend to anyone.

This was my first time skydiving and I had the BEST time Ever! I even Jumped twice! I think I might be hooked! It was LOVE at first jump!

If you are in KY and you want to jump out of perfectly good airplane. ..well Skydive KY is the place to be.I just recently got the chance to pay them a visit and do a couple jumps,these people are one the best bunch of skydivers around,they make feel like family and best of all... they keep u in the air as much as u want,you not gonna get bump.Thank guys for the good time and the friendship....blue skies

For a great time Sky Dive Kentucky is the best I've seen for the 1st Jump or the 1,000st Jump.

I just earned my A license and could have not been more pleased with my training and preparation for the Sport.

I tandem jumped for the first time. I went for my 18 birthday on May 28 and had a blast! We got confused on the time difference and ended up showing an hour late and were really great about it! Got awesome pictures and the videographer was great. The staff was interactive and made you feel really safe. Overall, a great experience and would recommend it to anyone.

I was lucky enough to do a tandem with Jim the owner of Skydive Kentucky. The staff there were so nice and helpful. It really seems like a family atmosphere, so everyone really does care about everyone else. The best part was jumping out and going through a small cloud while it was raining, very few people can say they have done this. Go to Skydive Kentucky, you owe it to yourself!

It was a great experience 100%. I would recommend Sky Dive Ky to anyone and everyone that has ever dreamed of that unexplainable feeling!!

The staff and tandem instructors at SkyDive KY were amazing! Tammy was so friendly, informative, and helpful! Greg and Larry were wonderful tandem instructors -- they were professional and fun. I was surprised at how safe I felt even though I was jumping out of a plane at 10,000 feet. Our pilot was kind and loved showing us photos once we touched down. I can't think of a better place for a first sky dive. Not only seriously considering more jumps, but possibly certification! Thank you!

I loved every second I spent at Skydive Kentucky! The faculty could not have been nicer. They make you feel so welcome and comfortable, I wasn't nervous at all once I got there. Jim Moore is incredible and knows exactly what he is doing, he's jumped like a million times. Des is a fantastic pilot and hilarious also, ask him to tell you a story and prepare to laugh! The jump went very smoothly and was so much fun!!! Jim made the landing flawless, I landed softly right on my feet as if I was hopping off a bed. I want to go 100 more times, I reccommend Skydive Kentucky anyday!!

Even though we had to wait a little while to get up because of wind the jump was totally worth the wait! Jim and Des did a great job and I felt safe the whole time. Jim lets you know whats going on the whole time before and during the jump. The jump itself was amazing and the landing couldn't have gone smoother! If your looking for a great place to go sky diving go with Sky Dive Kentucky!!!!!

this was by far the best thing I have ever done! I want to do it over and over! I am not a big money spender, but SKYDIVE KY could very well drain my bank account! I recommend Skydive KY to everyone! Larry was my partner and he is GREAT, very funny, nice, and reassuring!

First time I have ever gone skydiving and I am hooked. Jim Moore and Skydive Ky are highly recommended. They took the extra step to make sure all of us were comfortable and well prepared for our jump. Best of all, free BROWNIES on weekends!

I took my static line course on Sat 4-17-10 but did not get to jump because of high winds. I called the next day and weather was right for static line. I drove up and went through short refresher, geared up, and boarded plane. Care for students was evident throughout the whole time of training, jumping and landing. These guys are professionals. The experience was great and I plan to continue.
