Skydive Fort Wayne created, by far, some of the most memorable experiences for me. If I had the funds I would still be jumping as frequently as possible. Everyone there is professional yet comforting and laid back. I never once felt unprepared for a jump but at the same time was totally at ease with the entire experience. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to boost their livelihood!

Skydive Fort Wayne is a great dropzone. There a lot of Well Experienced jumpers who call SFW their home.I have made several hundred jumps there over the last eight years and will make many more. The staff takes pride in professionalism and saftey. As an experienced jumper who has been to many different DZs I will tell you that SFW is a great place to hang out. If you are looking to make a first jump, go there!! The entire staff will take you under there wing and teach you the skills needed to survive and thrive in the wonderful sport of skydiving.

I wish i could write more about my experience at fort wayne skydive, but sadly my experience stopped 4 days before my appointment. I scheduled an appointment 2 MONTHS in advance for a specific day that all of my friends were coming from out of town and made sure to get my day off in work early enough. I put the deposit down (which was quite large!) and thought because i took the time to schedule so far in advance I wouldn't run into any problems. Wrong. I get a call 4 days before saying they are going to have to cancel because they don't have their planes ready. I'm sorry, but that IS NOT under any circumstances an acceptable excuse. The weekend we scheduled was opening weekend and apparently we weren't good enough to have their planes ready by then. I think if i called 2 months in advance they would have had plenty of time to get stuff like that worked out. so we are going to Plymouth skydive instead and are already thrilled with the customer service from them. Bye bye angola skydive! If anyone in fort wayne says they are going to skydiving ill make sure they DON'T WASTE THEIR TIME WITH YOU.

The view is great with all the lakes in the area. If you show up alone don't expect to jump solo unless you really, really want to. There are some really experienced bellyflyers that love to jump with new people. It is a safe place to jump, the people that may have given it a bad reputation have moved on. I highly recomend jumping there just don't be in a big hurry, after all, it is a Cessna DZ, nice laid back atmosphere.
