I highly recommend this place to whoever want to jump for the first time, like I did.

With some friends, we booked a tandem flight via a Google Offer last June. When we wanted to redeem our offer, it was a bit tricky: we had to call many many times and to our surprises, no dates were available before our coupons expired, 2 months later. But things worked out eventually and they even accepted our coupons after the validation date (which was nice of them). That is true: the communication to book our jumps was not the smoothest and easiest, BUT, don't let this preventing you to do business with these guys. Once we arrived to the airport, they were very professional and we immediately knew we could trust these guys. George is a great instructor and I would trust him again any time of the day. It was a great experience and we are planning to jump again with him. But this time, we'll contact them a year in advance if we need to!

Bought an online special for a tandem jump a year ago. When I went to redeem it (prior to the expiration date), I was informed that they couldn't meet their end of the bargain so they offered me the (only) option of waiting until next year. I was NOT happy, but I agreed reluctantly. I was told that the season would start back up around April/May and that I should call back around that time (they gave NO SPECIFIC PARAMETERS OR EXPIRATION DATE).

I was finally back in town and able to jump in early June (remember I never signed up with the intention of waiting until spring of 2013). When I called to set up a jump, I was treated with utter disrespect and told that I had to call between some random specific dates to be eligible for the deal (I was NEVER given specific dates). The man on the phone was so stupid as to tell me that OVER HALF the list of people whose jumps had also been postponed had not even called yet. Gee, I wonder why so many people would throw away over $100... Unless YOU WEREN'T CLEAR WITH ANYONE AND WERE RUNNING A SCAM.

When I tried to explain to him that, had I known there were specific parameters, I would have called during that time. At that point, the man on the phone hung up on me (only after being incredibly, disgustingly rude)!

I would NEVER jump out of a plane with these people. I hope they lose business so maybe they will learn to treat their customers better instead of being shady "businessmen" (if you would even call them that). Disgusting disgrace for a reputable business, in my experience. I hope that anyone who reads this has half their wits about them to realize that if they are this shady and disturbing in their business proceedings, they probably aren't the people you want to trust with your life.

George was an absolute blast to skydive with. It was the first time for my whole group (5 of us). George was funny, professional and informative. He made the experience completely comfortable and enjoyable. I would go skydiving with him again in a heartbeat.

3 caveats. OK 4, well maybe 5..
1.Never done this before
2.Didn't sign up for it (daughter signed me up).
3. I'm 68
4. What do I compare this to?
5.I'm more of a floating gliding sailing rather than a plunging kind of a guy (which means I don't drink the skydiving rah rah rah...kool-Aid), yet...
Great group of guys when I finally found them (not in the small airport office).
Thought I would get some sort of zip up air suit. No. Wanted something on my head, no. More to protect the few hairs I have left on than to save me
if I auger in. OK real men don't need that sh*t. Shoestring operation as others have mentioned. I thought the plane engine carbs would benefit from some gumout, and the duct tape inside didnt inspire confidence, hey, but I'm an easy going kind of a guy in a neurotic sort of way. Some of the instructors said not to worry, because you already have your chute on. That relaxed me until I realized that he had the chute on and we weren't tethered yet. None of that really worried me, though I thought it was amusing. I thought about what it would be like when they opened the door and we have to slide straddle to it and jump. Was I up to this? I could still say no. This ain't the military, they have newer planes...It turns out that I couldn't wait to get out of the F%$$#@ing plane because the 2 of us squatting on my old knees was excruciatingly painful. I had to do some controlled breathing to put up with the pain. I couldn't wait to get out that door. I was surprised at how easy it was to flip head over heels on the way out. The rest was glorious if not a bit cold. It was in the low 50's and gusty at ground level. All in all, exhilirating. Would I go there again. Only if George jumps with me and supplies knee pads. Cheers!

I stopped in to make a jump because a relative wanted to see. I immediately felt welcomed and sensed the calm & relaxing environment. George was really great and the staff was very accommodating. It even seemed to be kid friendly - nice since I was with the family! I know I'll be returning soon! Thank you guys!

Did two night jumps there last night, plus one earlier to get aquainted with the landing area. Owners Terry and George have created a little gem of a DZ on a shoestring budget. But there is no scrimping on services. Besides instruction they offer things many bigger DZs don't--like regular night jumps and get-wet actual water training. Well worth the drive to find a DZ that caters to the fun jumper. I will definitely be back!

I've made a only a few jumps here and it was during my student status; however the instructors were very thorough with my training. The instructors wanted me to know every aspect of what was going to happen on the jump run. I learned a lot more on the 4 jumps that i made here than i did during my aff training at another location. I moved shortly after i started jumping and I wish i could have brought this DZ with me.

The staff are very helpful when you have a question or concern and are great at teaching students. The dz is on a small airport that doesn't have much air traffic. You might see one or two planes land there if you stay all day. There are concessions at the DZ that are run by the Purdue sport Parachute Club or there are resturaunts a mile down the road in town.

I did my first Tandem jump up at another DZ not in my area and was hooked. Decided to start my IAD progression at Air Indiana and am having a blast! The staff is fun but very professional. I believe that when you're in this sport there is no such thing as someone who is too thorough, and these guys definitely have that.

Very good low-key atmosphere. Just relax and make some really cool skydives. No 'skygod' pressure or anything of that nature... Everyone is pretty much a family here. I highly recommend it if you're new to the sport, or if you just want a fun place to make some very neat and scenic skydives. Great Job Air Indiana!
