Gateway Skydiving Center

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make a jump at Gateway due to my travel schedule. While I waited for an opportunity to get on a lift, I was able to observe the operation; every aspect was professional and efficient. Arnel and Zuko Smajic were gracious hosts who made me feel welcome. I'll be back...

I love Gateway Skydiving, great People, great location, huge wide open flat landing area, and everyone feels welcome.

Recently took 3 friends there to do their first jumps(tandem). With the combination of the short drive from Saint Louis, friendly/knowledgable staff, and the great views of illinois largest man-made lake al left very happy with their experience.

For the experienced jumper Gateway offers a good variety of people to jump with and one of the best landing areas you'll find anywhere. Stop in and check it out

I grew up around big dropzones, but for a place that's just getting started I have no complaints. Staff is friendly yet professional. I felt very welcomed there. I recommend checking them out! Plus they want a turbine, so the more people that go the closer they are to getting one!

Gateway Skydiving Center has a great vibe and is an awesome place to experience and learn to skydive.
They are super cool, very friendly and very patient.
Not only will you have a great experience in the sky but on the ground too and if your still around at the end of the day you will find that you become great friends with Arnel and his team and want to return as often as you can. Although I'm currently based in Colorado I hope to get back for a visit soon and as often as I can.

Big fan of Gateway Skydiving. Perfect location; right off I-70, about an hour from the St Louis metro area. I learned how to skydive at Greenville Airport; it's wide open, and jumper friendly. Superb staff of skydiving pros. Great packing area (shade/carpeted), great parking, nearby dining and hotels.

I started my skydiving career around many of the folks at GSC and they have always been very helpful and motivational. Theres a good mix of fun jumpers there so you can get in on belly jumps, freefly jumps or just a hop n pops... Whatever you're pleasure is, GSC can accomodate. The facilities are super nice and it has a nice landing area with plenty of outs. Students and first time jumpers will be welcomed by all at GSC... Louie is by far one of the best static line instructors around and all the tandem/aff instructors are top notch. I would highly recommend GSC to anyone wanting to make a skydive, whether it's their 1st or 500th....

First time at Gateway Skydiving Center and had a blast. The staff all said hi to me when I showed up,they helped me find people to jump with and made me stay for a drink that night! Made some cool friends there, will be back for sure!
