I had an awesome experience with the facility (which was very clean, well kept and had showers, changing rooms, play area, games, tv) - i was quite impressed actually.

The whole process of jumping was also very well organized, we had 30 minute briefing, then we waited for the weather to clear for a few hours, and when it was go time - it was a lot of fun.

We met our tandem instructors, got to go through the rules and steps again (which is very helpful), and then again prior to jumping (also very helpful) - and the equipment was safe and new - so was the plane - overall i felt assured that i was going to be having a lot of fun throughout and i did!

The view was good - lots of green. I look forward to other drop zones with water, mountains, maybe skylines? (But not sure if i'm being too picky!)

I'd definitely go back either for a tandem with James from NZ, this with camera; or just to learn to do it myself!

Thanks again for the Awesome experience!

Cheers,
Jin Sheen

This year the weather has been iffy for jumping. I live 1 1/2 to 2 hours away and scheduling this with 3 people has been hard. If they had someone less perky on the phone it would be easier after 4 reschedules and hearing her. My daughter and are glad that's done. Tip schedule online. The experience overcomes all the problem's though. Anything that's worth anything involves some problems. So don't be turned off by some negativity on my part it was worth it all.

I went skydiving with 4 of my friends on saturday July 18th and even though we had to be split up and go in two separate planes; it was still an awesome time! The weather was GORGEOUS and I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. Kelsey, my instructor, and Arnel, my videographer, were the best and made the jump very memorable... THANKS GUYS!

I think I'm in love with skydiving and I can't wait to go again! I told everybody I saw and recommended it to everyone!

Thank you guys and to all the staff at CSC!

Not recommended. They told us 4 jumpers to be there at 3pm for our appointment. Groups arriving after us jumped before us. We waited 2.5 hours to jump. Our instruction session consisted of 1 minute of instruction and a 15 minutes sales pitch to buy their DVD. Then they jumped us at 9,000 ft. instead of 14,000 that we paid for. They told us we gave permission to jump at 9000 (total lie) and no refund offered. Gave us a free t-shirt instead. Total waste of time and money. Very unprofessional. Never go to again. Avoid at all costs!

Me & two of my girlfriends were scheduled to go jumping on Saturday, July 4th & it was the worst rainy day...So we went back on Sunday, July 5th & it was the best sunny day ever. My instructor Gregg & my camera man Paul were the best. It was very much worth the 4hour drive (1 hour each way for 2 days).

I am in love with skydiving! I couldn't wait to tell the world that I went skydiving. It was one of the best moments in life.
Thank you Gregg, Paul, Laura & the remaining CSC staff!!

I had my first sky diving experience today and it was awesome. The trainers walk you through the entire process and they are really friendly.

The only drawback was we were scheduled to jump at 3pm but landed jumping at 6. We had to wait there for 3 hours before our scheduled jump. They still want you to come there at the scheduled time but warn you upfront that it could take longer. They surely could plan the jumps more effectively and inform jumpers to come accordingly

All said and done I would definitely go there again.....and plan to soon.

I was given a gift certificate and therefore went to CSC - there was no real choice involved. But I took two of my friends with me, and since I had recommended the place to them I was hoping it would be good. I was not disappointed.

The staff were very helpful, actually available, prompt with answering a nervous person's queries before I even reached there.

Once there, they were approachable and you could actually connect to these people. The fact that not one of them was jaded and they all seemed to really enjoy their hobs made the whole experience much more pleasant, and made it exciting.

The weather was excellent for a dive, no winds, clear skies except for a bit of cloud.

The staff was professional, and my tandem jumper (Rob) was very clear about what we were going to do. The details were clear and he was very reassuring about any questions I had. My "video guy", Nathan was a lot of fun.

CSC is a high energy place even though we went up pretty early in the morning, and the entire deal was very good, including by not limited to the dive itself.

Definately would recommend.

I came for the 14,000 foot jump but upgraded to the 18,000 and very glad I did. Emily my Tandem diver was great. She explained everything along the way and with the exception of the experience of jumping out of a perfectly good airplane at 18,000 feet, there were no surprises. Thinking about going for a solo!

CSC was a wonderful place to skydive for my first jump. All of the employees were helpful and it was reassuring to see how much they loved their job. The number of jumps per day makes CSC so convenient. The number of students they had proved that they are good at what they do. Flying through the air with CSC was more than worth the money and driving time! I'll be back sooner than later to fly again!

I am a (or was!) a first time jumper and I did extensive research before finally picking a place and settling on where I wanted to jump out of a perfectly good plane. What a great way to celebrate finishing the school year I'd say!

Anyways, there are a few reasons why I finally choose ChicagoLand Skydiving Center. Before I was going to pick anywhere to go I was going to call around and see how the workers were and how well they would answer my questions. Before I ended up calling CSC I called around to another skydiving place that was closer to me and in southern Ohio (startskydiving.com) I don't have one problem giving away the name of the place as they clearly didn't earn my respect and you'll soon find out. I'll name your name to do either one of two things, compliment your company or put it down it's up to the company on which one I do.

When I called up STARTSKYDIVING they were very unprofessional. They were very short with me and very rude. They acted as if they didn't care about my business and wanted to get off the phone as quickly as possible. I had to keep the conversation going the whole time and they didn't try one bit to get my business.

I am describing my experience with them only to show you how differently and how well I was treated with CSC. When I called up CSC I was immediately greeted with a very happy and cheerful person that I could tell enjoyed they're job and was going to take their time with me. I started asking my questions and they answered every single of them beyond my belief. They assured me of everything and told me to call back as many times as I need to if I still have questions.

I just got one of those "Good feelings" with these guys. I knew when I got off the phone with them that this was the place to go. Now you also have to understand this is a HUGE compliment on CSC and who well they handled me. I traveled all the way from OHIO to 45 minutes west of Chicago! I had to have passed over 5 jump zones on my way there and I didn't care one bit because I would much rather drive 5 hours to a place that made me feel comfortable then travel two hours and be nervous.

I drove up there the night before with two other buddies of mine. This was another great sign of hospitality by CSC. They allowed my friends and I to set up a tent on their land, use their firewood and make ourselves at home there over night. Absolutely unbelievable, I couldn't believe how well they were treating me before I even met them in person!

The following day was finally jump day! I had to wait two hours for clouds to clear to jump but that was just mother nature being a pain in the ass. The workers there clearly love the job they do. Not only that, they understand what they do and know everything you could imagine about skydiving. They made me feel completely safe and I didn't have one ounce of fear in me the entire time. I was more excited then scared and I think that was due to the fact that the crew had done such a good job in abolishing my fears that all I was concerned about was jumping and having fun!

In conclusion, ChicagoLand Skydiving Center is by far the best and most professional jump zone in the Midwest and I would gladly travel five hours every weekend to jump with these guys because of how well they treated me and how great my experience was. Will deff come back and would deff recommend to anyone thinking about making their first jump CSC is the place to be!

What a great Skydiving Center. I walked in and was immediately greeted with a smile. Then I got my first jump given to me for FREE, and manifest shut down every chance she could so I could get in as many jumps as possible.
Experienced Jumpers you have to check out this place!

Came here in August to redo an AFF course following a lengthy break from skydiving. I really enjoyed my time at CSC the staff there were all friendly, helpful and encouraging. The instructors there were professional and focused on making sure that I gained the skills needed to attain an A license during my time there.

The manifest team were also super efficient and helpful even on busy weekends i was never in any doubt what load i was on and when the next loads were this is something that the other DZ's I've been to really struggle with.

The Otter and PAC750XL looked great and did an excellent job of getting to altitude fast.

Overall if anyone is thinking of learning to skydive and has the opportunity to learn at CSC go for it. Unfortunately I can only jump at CSC when work takes me to the US.

To Doug and the team keep doing a great job!

I had always wanted to skydive but finding someone to go skydiving with is about as easy as finding a needle in a haystack. My cousins sent me a message on facebook this year seeing if anyone wanted to go and I was like "pick me pick me" so we went and the place is so awesome that I went back there to go through the training to get my A license. I live in Ohio but I drive back to the CSC every other weekend to do my jumps. By the 3rd time there most of the instructors knew my name and they are always coming up and asking you how your jumps are going and always offering advice on how to improve. This past weekend I met a guy that started his studentship in England since that is where is from, he had a motorcycle accident so he was out of the game for 2 years and he flew all the way across the pond to the CSC to do their training. The place is awesome, I will keep going back and I recommend this place to anyone that wants to give skydiving a whirl or for experienced jumpers looking for an amazing DZ

I Couldn't have asked for a better introduction to the world.
The day was perfect, Sunny and clear.
My instructor was Finn he was incredible. He constantly asked me if I had any questions and was reassuring about anything that made me nervous. He kept everything light but impressed upon the technical to make me feel comfortable and secure. I had TD as the Camera guy he was fantastic both he and Finn worked very well together and gave me a wonderful memory to keep. The pictures and video are amazing.
I was encouraged to steer and actively participate in pulling the chute (even though I forgot.)
Thank you both for a fantastic experience. I can't wait to do it again

I recently went to CSC while I was home on leave from the Army. CSC is an amazing DZ with great staff that love to have fun. The aircraft they have are the best, they are clean, fast and fun! I even talked my mom into jumping there and she LOVED it! An overall great place to skydive! So many friendly jumpers to jump with. Cannot wait until I move back home to make CSC my home DZ!

I "surprised" (I told him a few days before) my husband with jumps at CSC for our anniversary. The staff was absolutely excellent. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't cooperating fully and we could only climb to 7,000 ft. My instructor took me out but my husband's did not think it was high enough. Because we weren't able to go together, they let me ride in the co-pilot seat for his jump (and gave him a 14,000 ft jump). The flight down was - almost - as fun as the jump. Just an incredible experience with tons of enthusiasm from everyone. Definitely get the video and try to remember to look at the video guy! Enjoy....

It was a wonderful experience. I was very stressed about it, not scared not nervous, then.. the staff was helpful and informative of the procedure. My instructor was Paul and was very calming. We had a group of 15 and ALL enjoyed. I want to say that the fact that I felt safe from beginning to end was reassuring. My advise if this is your first time, buy the video.

I was hesitant about skydiving, but wanted my boyfriend to have a memorable birthday present. Not knowing anything about skydiving, I chose CSC based on their professional website and reviews of the facility. I could not have been happier with my selection.

We had to wait a few hours before actually jumping, but most everyone at CSC was friendly and we spent the time watching others jump and making friends.

My boyfriend jumped tandem with Jeremy and had a wild, thrilling experience. (He STILL watches his video AT LEAST twice a day!) I had some serious reservations about jumping out of a perfectly good airplane! I was paired with George and he was exactly what I needed. He calmed my fears and made sure to answer all the questions I had. He comes highly recommended!!!!

We chose to get both the still shots and videos and are so glad we did. It would be hard to describe the experience to friends and family without them. If you had to chose between the two, go for the video. It's put together very professionally and is so fun to watch. Also, our camera men (the twins) made the experience all the better. We really felt like they were there to help us have an amazing jump!

All and all we had a wonderful experience at CSC and will certainly be making a trip back. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

CSC was a great place for a first tandem jump. The instructors were energetic, thorough, and fun. I was a bit nervous, but the jump went smoothly and my instructor encouraged me to interact with the photographer and make the most of it. After landing, I was ready to do it again! Kudos to the awesome team at CSC!

It was my first jump and I was extremely nervous. Everyone told me about what jumping would be like and assured me about my safety. The staff was very friendly and you could tell they loved their job. There were fresh sub sandwiches and great food available to everyone. Not everyone there was jumping, people brought their kids and dogs and made it an all day experience of food, camping and volleyball. I decided ahead of time to get photos taken, and then was told for just an extra $20 I could get a video too. Both were amazing quality with music and my interview parts put together. My tandem instructor made the video hilarious and also made my experience one of a kind. Overall, I loved the entire day and can't wait to go back and become certified so I can do it on my own! I would recommend this to anyone and everyone.

My husband and I had our first tandem jump with CSC and we had a great experience. They have great attitudes and really make you feel safe and comfortable. Eric B. was great with me as I was a little hesitant/scared. He has a great personality and made the experience worth it. I would recommend CSC to anyone thinking about jumping because they have outstanding overall service!
