I just earned my A License at Skydive Idaho, so I'm a little biased. Great facility on a private airstrip, huge grass landing area for fun jumper and a seperate not-so-grassy area for students. The instructors are some of the best in the business, and they go out of their way to give you one-on-one attention before, during, and after your training jump. They have the finest polished aluminum C-182 I've ever jumped from, their staff is excellent, pilots fantastic, and the camping is great! I'm just finishing a 4 week stay here, and the people here really make the place feel like a 2nd home.

One note: Skydive Idaho also shows up as Star Skydiving Center on Dropzone's locator map; they are one and the same dropzone, but only the phone number and email listed for Skydive Idaho are correct.

Skydive Idaho was a very nice place to visit. It seemed like everyone there at the dz was there to relax and enjoy the day at a slower pace, which is both good and bad (i.e. sometimes the lengthier waits in between loads was nice and relaxing, other times frustrating if you want to just get in the air). the folks there really seemed interested in helping out new guys learn a new discipline. good people

I visited this DZ on my way through Idaho and got totally looked after by them. It was great so I had to tell everyone. I always get looked after well when I visit any DZ but these guys were just a step above. Its a small dz but that doesn't mean it's small on fun. Check out their website and see when the king air is there, about once a month I believe.

From the minute you walk through the door the professional staff are helpful and on the ball. The atmosphere is pleasant and safety is paramount. The gear is well kept and clean. World class operation!
