Breath taking scenery. Hawaii, Ocean, King Air, fast climb to 14k on every load. Great island and cloud views, rainforest looking jungle on the mountains, beaches and the pacific. I'm going back asap.

From the dz review from one of their instructors to the professionalism of their packers this is one drop zone you should definitely check out. The KingAir is fast to altitude with the climb out going over the Pacific (lots to see from the windows). Spotting is dead on, the view from altitude and under canopy is unbeatable. The packers are quick and efficient, the entire staff treats you like you're one of their own. I was only able to make one jump there yet was treated as if I'd been jumping there from the beginning. Definitely one of the friendliest drop zones I've visted, just remember to bring your beer!!

I live here and I jump at Pacific. If you're thinking about doing a tandem jump here in Hawaii... Pacific is the place to go!

Their King Air rocks... gets to 14K (yes, 14K! Every jump (tandems and upjumpers! Every time!) in 10 min or less. The staff is friendly to upjumpers and tandem students alike. The jump tix have recently gone up from $22 to $24, however you can still get them for $22 by buying a block of 25 at a time.

The jump staff is obviously happy about where they work. They are regular spreaders of the great vibes you'll feel here.

The packers are almost always avialable for upjumpers (although their priority is to the tandems and video staff) they do their very best to accomodate. And there's a big tarp under a tree which makes for good packing space.

The pilots are a happy crew (OK, they ARE flying the biggest, baddest, most kick-butt plane on the field!) and they all skydive on their days off.

Their plane is in tip top shape. I see them do regular maintenence on it. Their chief mechanic gets in the plane 6 days a week (videographer/photographer) and is constantly there to monitor the plane's condition.

This place is very welcoming to visiting jumpers. I've seen the owner (World Record Skydiver Guy Banal) and the staff give great briefings (trust me, you'll want a great briefing here in Hawaii) and local jumpers are quick to introduce themselves and extend a hand.

THIS IS A USPA DROP ZONE RUN BY SKYDIVERS FOR SKYDIVERS! COME ON OVER!

If you're going to Hawaii, do what ever you can to jump here! Just got back to the mainland yesterday, and I wish that I had spent more than two days at the DZ. From the minute I stepped foot on the DZ, I was treated well, and received two briefings; They were both excellent and everyone from the owner (Guy), packers, pilots, and local jumpers made me feel welcome. I didn't have any problems getting on loads as an up jumper. I was even invited to come back early the next day for an early morning load. Everyone else has already written about the view, so no more needs to be said. Pack a lunch though. There is no food service except for vending machines. I'm going back in a few months!
If you need any info on where to stay, etc. Feel free to contact me at [email protected]

PS- The landing area is plenty big enough...

I got the pleasure of visiting PSC while in Hawaii for a navy school. The people who work and jump there are very friendly, I recieved an OUTSTANDING dropzone brief from one of the employees there, they covered everything in great detail leaving me fully prepared for the jump. The view at this place is amazing, right on Hawaii's shore line, I actually exited the aircraft over the ocean! It was increadible. Unfortionately this DZ does close early, it seemed to me that they schedule all the tandems for early times in the morning, and as soon as they get all of them up quickly they shut down, but at that point Skydive Hawaii is 2 buildings down . The king air is awsome, and is even equipt with a Fart Alarm at the back of the plane :) The DZ does leave something to be desired for packing areas.

Overall, if you are in Hawaii, you must do a jump with these guys, I really felt welcome there for the short times that they were open :)

At Dillingham Air Field right next to the other place. Very friendly people at this DZ. Few spots for fun jumpers, lots of tandems. Absolutly beautiful to jump on the north shore of Ouahu! I was nervous about jumping so close to the ocean, and high winds, but they gave a great breifing and it turned out to be nothing to worry about! Was definatly a short day ending before noon both days we were there,so get there early.

Pacific Skydive center had a very friendly and helpfull staff. They are well organized, give you very good briefings. And that's a must, because the dropzone is very close to the ocean and there are few alternative places for landing if you don't make it to the dropzone.

I felt very welcome over here and they cared a lot about my saftey.

And they have a King Air!

So if you have to choose: go to Pacific Skydivecenter.

Not a lot of up jumpers, but view makes up for it. Make sure to go early in day.

If you're in Hawaii, this is the DZ to go to. Kind of a tandem factory, but they don't 'ignore' fun jumpers like some other tandem places I've been. Staff is professional, friendly and very experienced.

There is a 'clicky' vibe when you first start out, but that's probably a function of most people going through there being one-time tourists. Once you get to know everyone it's easy to find someone to jump with/make friends.

It's open all week, but you'll likely jump alone if you go M-F; local funjumpers are usually only out during the weekends. But don't turn your nose up at a solo jump, the view alone is worth a solo belly fly just for the best view going!

Their King Air is super fast to altitude (often giving you more than 13.5k) They have the Fastest aircraft of the the 3 dropzone operations there.

I was recently visiting the islands with my wife and kids and got the opportunity to sneak out to the north shore of Oahu. What I found was 2 competing Skydive centers(Pacific and Hawaii)and the fact of the matter is -- they are both good companys--the underlying truth is Pacific's plane got to 14'000' or higher every jump(and it only took about 10 minutes)and it held more jumpers(although mostly freefliers). While the plane at Skydive Hawaii had a more colorful paintjob, it didn't perform as well as the Pacifc plane. I tell everyone I know to visit oth companys --but in the long run you'll want to jump at Pacific

Thanks to all at both DZ's for all of your help

I visit Oahu only about 2x / year and each time, Pacific Skydiving is on my list before checking into my hotel! Libby and the rest of the staff are so friendly, and make you feel as if you're at your home DZ.
